I need to apologize I am the one that posted the Write-in Candidate (from Bill Cosby). I thought it was funny and only wanted to post it for some of its humorous points. I love Bill Cosby and I had thought it was written by him. I agreed with a lot of points made but mainly just posted it as entertainment. I did not know it would offend some people and did not know politics were not okay on this forum or frowned upon. I am very sorry to those that were offended, I did not mean anything by it. I did not think when I posted it and I will make sure not to post anything here like that again. To those that understood it was just meant to pass along a funny, THANK YOU! |
Although I don't think an apology is needed, I accept it fully. I thought the thread was hilarious. In fact I thought it was YOU who was the write in and I was sharpening my pencil to write YOU in. Please don't worry, have a great day, and thank you for making me smile this morning! |

I think on any given day, someone somewhere will take offense to anything....its silly to take things to heart so easily. A statement doesn't always have to be taken as if it was written just for that person taking offense..ya know? |
aww don't be sorry, I got it in an email and took it as it was intended, in jest, I thought it was funny. I didn't take it personal or anything. Some things I agreed with, some I didn't. I still thought it was funny. ;) Everyone has different opinions on here, in everything, that's what everyone needs to remember. We all interpret jokes differently, our opinions on breeding, types of foods to eat, how we discipline our dogs, etc. I could go on. As everyone has noticed we don't all share the same opinion. It's no different then the joke you posted. If someone was offended they just needed to skip on by to the next post as they should with dog related issues. However, they are also free to post their opinions but things shouldn't get controversial or someone shouldn't be jumped on. The differences are what makes us humans and the way of the world. Could you imagine how boring it would be if we all had the same opinions? There would be nothing to discuss. People just need to remember to keep it in check. It is one thing to specifically address someone or one particular issue, you didn't. No harm no foul. JMO |
Thank you for your apology but I was not offended in anyway. I had already read that from an e-mail sent to me. I thought it was funny. I don't think a day goes by without someone being offened in someway. Unfortunately that's life! Have a great day. |
