Junebug: That was my husband's show! He edited it. I liked the boys too, they were hysterical. Big Daddy has been editing those shows for a year now and he's booked to do them until next May!!! He says they are so mindless, but they are bread and butter baby ;) |
To be honest I feel sorry for these girls, it is not their fault really that they have been raised this way...It is sort of like how everyone here defends aggressive dogs as the product of bad owners, these girls in my opinion are the product of parents that use money to show their children affection and just so happen to have a lot of it... On a side note I find it interesting that it is okay for us to look down on people because they are rich, but it is not socially acceptable for the rich to turn their nose down at the poor (not that I am saying this is okay)...A lot of people who are wealthy have worked really hard for what they have and are entitled to spend that money freely even if we think it is frivolous. |

I'm not looking down on them because they're rich. I don't like to look down on anyone. It's the fact that some of these girls are just outright unkind that draws attention. A person can be as poor as a mouse and be unkind and snobby, and I still won't think highly of them. |
Yes I agree,, with you can come from any kind of family and still be a snob, and be ungrateful, But, It IS the parents that allow this behaviour. as Dr Phil would say,," You teach people how to treat you" |
My parents have money, quite a bit, (but not celebrity money by any means). My father worked incredibly hard for his money. They instilled this work ethic in me along with respect. If i wanted the things there money could by i had to respect them and their wishes. Looking back I should of been more apreciative of all the things that i had. But the biggest thing is money or not i would of never back talked my mother the way she did. I don't know who's fault that is and i'm not placing blame all that i know is my mom would of clobbered me. |
i'm watchin it now.. |
I never seeing the show, And what i had read here is about spoil ungratreful little brats. I dont think is my cup of tea. We always have being a modreate class family and we all were teach to respect others. So I agreed that is the parents fault for these kids to behave they way they do; well at least 80% of the time. |
i agree..it's all how your brought up!! |

Maybe I am thinking of a different girl. I am thinking of the girl who had her party with her equally rich friend... ?? |
When the girl on last night's show was being so rude to her mother while they were in the car, I kept waiting for her mom to pull over, stop the car, and turn around and let her have it. There is no excuse for such disrespect, regardless of whether it is towards your peers or elders. Behavior like that is totally inexcusable in my book. My only solace is that she made herself look like an ass in front of millions of people. |

Yes I agree that these girls are more than a bit out of hand in terms of behavior, but like I said before look to the parents if you want to judge someone...These girls will one day be in for a rude awakening, trust me, I can sympathize with their situation...The parents that put up with this and indulge their kids in this way have done them a real disservice. Speaking from experience (although I never was mean) I can say (1) there expectations of what other people should do for them will be too high; (2) they will have a hard time dealing with authority in work situations; (3) there way of relating to people will be a bit off...I just do not think it is fair for everyone to demonize these kids so much when it should be clear they are the products of their environment and it is clear MTV has made the show to make them look probably even worse than they are. |
