I've seen stories and pictures like this on several tv shows and it usually involves some type of mental illness. No one in their right mind would choose to live this way, it's sad. |
While those pictures are definitely revolting, I am very sad for this woman. She clearly has a mental illness and I hope she gets the help she needs. She will be in my thoughts. |

I have known 2 people in my lifetime that lived like this. Both had horrible depression. It seemed like home didnt matter anymore and life just got too overwhelming to participate in. I think things can spin out of control faster than you can pick up the pieces. I hope that this lady got the help she needs. |
I cannot believe those photos!!! How did you guys get into my apartment???? lol I am in complete shock that someone could live that way!!! I cannot start my day until everything is in it's place.....I am not obsessed with cleaning but I like things neat and tighty. So sad!!! |
"Clean House" Have you seen this show?? they show so many people living like this, they even have a contest for the messiest home in America and the winners look just like this pictures you post, maybe you can contact her because I think she will win for a total make over "clean house":eek: |

How weird...it looks like a person that doesn't leave the house...if they do..what did she wear, where did she work...how did she afford so much take out and cigarettes? Thats simply amazing...I need some kind of update on this woman |
BARF!!!!!! I clean houses for a living and she couldn't PAY me enough to touch that with a ten foot pole:eek: GROSS! Better to burn the house down and rebuild:rolleyes: |
Yet she irons her clothes.................. There is a show on the BBC channel called "How Clean Is Your House" and these are the types of homes they clean. It's unbelievable at times, one man said he hadn't seen his cat in 6 months. They thought they might find it dead in the mess but apparently he was smart and moved out leaving the dirty human behind! |
Well Im glad to see that they can still set up an iron and ironing board through all of that, because having neat and straightning clothes must be important to them! LOL |

I saw the first few pics and Im just like uh... then I saw the bathroom pics and felt sick to my stomach!! YUCK!!!! I'll never understand people that trash their own homes.. cuz its so easy to just throw it in a trash! |
These pics make me so sad. The lady -- whatever her faults -- must be really suffering to have made this kind of home for herself. :( I think even the most robust, sane person would get physically and mentally sick if they lived in that house for more than 24 hrs. :confused: You know, this may be way out in left field and dramatic, but I really hope this woman is alive, if still unwell. We're armchair diagnosing someone with OCD (hoarding type) and depression at the very least. And there's such a high incidence of self-harm among individuals with these comorbidities, particularly in this lady's demographic (going by the caption). :( |
