ou kitty is sick....... it is starting to piss me off because she WILL NOT go in her litter box, she went outside on the patio (3 times) and she went on a gym bag, she PEED on the carpet....... since her last episode, i have locked her in the bathroom (where her litter box is) and left her in there...... she is my fiances cat, and i just cant do the litter box thing so that is his job....... she is active and otherwise she is normal, she just has a case of the "nasty blasties", any suggestions?

I don't know, I've never had a cat. But I hope she feels better soon! For your sake as well as hers.

I've had cats alot and it's very rare for them to get diarhea. It usually comes from drinking milk or eating something high in fat. Has she gotten into anything that she shouldn't have. It also very weird that if she's litter trained that all of a sudden she would stop using it all together. First thing i would do is pour out all the litter in the box and put in fresh. Is she current on all her shots?

I think a vet trip is in order and i agree it is odd that she would not use the litterbox even when sick unless it is too dirty. Poor baby. Hope she is better soon.

I have to agree my cats have always gone in there litter box even when sick with the runs. so you may have to make a trip to the vet. Is she uptodate on shot and dewormed? If not that may be the problem (worms)There are lots of diff kinds. But yes keep her confined to a small room till she starts using the box and make sure she has a clean box.(have him) Scoop it atleast 1x a day some cats dont like to have a dirtybox and will not use it if it is. I hope she gets better and keep me updated. good luck ;)

we just replaced our kitty litter............ im surprised, ive been using fresh step and in the bag it was more like ROCKS and now in the box it is more like SAND :confused: ......... she is up to date on all her shots, i cant think of anything that she has gotten into........ we are going to watch it for tonight and see what happens in the morning
