2 weddings this weekend...what should I wear??

I have 2 different weddings to attend this Sat and Sunday. I'm so clueless to what I'm suppose to wear. Its an afternoon wedding and I was thinking these 2 dresses, but is it way too dressy for an afternoon?

I really like them both, it depends of what type of wedding it is, unless is casual, then you could wear it, just dont go overboard with the accessories

Its actually a church wedding and afterwards a reception and the 2nd wedding is just the reception at a restaurant. Thanks for helping me out! :)

I agree that it depends on the wedding etc. If it's an afternoon I think I'd go with the first one, black is a little more dressy. ???? Just my thought.

i like both lol but i would wear pink to the first one and the black one to the second

:thumbup: For the church ceremony, you may get some scarf, that's not its name, but I forgot, something like a wrap to cover your shoulders, not even, you can have it off the shoulders, just to cover a bit, and you can take it off for the reception.Which ever you decide on, DO NOT forget to take pictures.have fun!

Thanks :) I'll probably go to the mall and buy a shawl or wear a cardigan type of thing over it.

Hey we think so much a like. lol I was saying the same thing get something to wrap around so your back will not be out in church! My mom drives me crazy about it lol.

The cardigan I have is white and see through. Its not long either.

Both of those dresses are really cute! I especially like the first one. I think they will work just fine, just like someone else already mentioned, don't go crazy with the accessories.

DEfinately the black you can't go wrong in black, its sheek, elegant can be dressed up , dressed down.

I'll just second what everyone else has already said- I think the pink might be more appropriate for a afternoon wedding and I would wear a wrap (a pashmina or the sweater you are planning on anyway). They are both really pretty. Be sure to post pictures.:)

Both dresses are beautiful - I would go with the pink with a wrap -- I'm not sure about wearing black to a wedding :confused:

What I REALLY want to know is where did you find the cute figure to wear either of those dresses? :D:D:D I used to have one, but I lost it somewhere after kid 2 and before kid 3 - never could find it again :(

One final thought from me - there is an unwritten rule (at least I don't think it's written down) about being prettier than the bride. Be careful and don't upstage her with your beautiful outfits :D :D :D

LOL No cute figure here! I gained 60lbs when preggie and lost 40lbs of it and still gotta lose 20lbs! Eek! I am slowly losing the weight though.
