Bless your heart - at least you're all safe...and wow - all the way to Waco ? Have you talked to Judy ?? She's there - maybe you can give her a call ??? GOOD LUCK !! This whole area has NO power so it looks really bad and I have no idea when you'll be able to come home. I feel so bad for you.....Hugs and give the boys a kiss from me |
What about TXshopper, V? She's west of Houston isn't she?? Did her area get hit? |

The problem here is no power - no stores open - no gas and debris all over the roads. I hope those trucks get here fast because most of Houston has NO electricity - and poor Galveston is just devestated along with the massive flooding of other areas - I can't believe what a mother of a storm this was.....it's just horrible. |
Has anyone heard from Brooke? I hope everyone is ok... |

as a fellow Gustav survivor, I so feel for all of you... we are 2 weeks out and still have many areas with no power... hopefully we will get up soon and can send all of the wonderful out of state people who are here, over to ya'll... I am so sorry for those of you who had damage from this terrible storm... the good news is... most power was back up here sooner than planned, thanks to all of the great people who traveled here to help! I did see a caravan of tree trimmers headed out of town today, headed your way.... Good Luck to you all! d |

In Houston power is still out for most of the city - I found out my apartment complex & area DID lose all power except for my little courtyard area/building ...whoa - that really is humbling when the whole city has no water & power. KEEP checking in everyone please !! |
you are blessed V.... so happy for you and the girls! did anyone hear from Brooke? |
I'm like 30 minutes away from Galveston and luckily we got power back yesterday in the afternoon. The neighborhood across the street doesn't have any yet. My neighbors down the street who stayed put said that the eye of the storm passed right by our neighborhood and was pretty scary because there was silence for a little while! |
so glad to hear you are OK! d |
Keeping all of our Texas members in our Thoughts and Prayers:2hearts2: |

LOL!! The powers that be knew that you would be able to keep in touch with half of TX so there is no way that they were going to let you run out of power, V! :p I knew TX Kim was from Victoria, so after I posted my last message I looked at the map and it looked so close that I was worried. (I know... TX is huge compared to NJ!) Glad to hear she's okay and I bet she'll be checking in soon. Still praying for everyone. Keep your spirits up and please let us know if there is anything we can do... |
I feel sooo bad for all of you, must be just horrible ! Glad you are ok V ! Praying for the ones that havent checked in yet ! |
