Those who send nasty PMs
 

I dont know who it is that feels the need to send nasty pms to people but it needs to stop. There is nothing that you have to say that cant be said in the open. Are you afraid of getting banned?? Well you should be. There is no reason to be nasty to anyone. Plain and simple. I know that most people aren't like me and wont just say how they feel but sometimes you need to. Why not?? Either way you are going to hurt some feelings. In all my time here I have sent one PM that wasn't nice. But I dont think that it was nasty either. I sent one to Nobella when she insulted Yoda, but she didn't know that it was Yoda. I appologized, she accepted and we are great friends now. So there again I ask, why send nasty PMs?? Say what you have to say right here for us all to see. I just can not stand when people do not have the guts to say what they have to say in the open and have to do it in secret. As many have said in the past, we are a community, many of us consider the people here an extention of thier family. I have grown very close to many people here and I feel the need to speak up and say this because I do have the guts to do it and I dont think that it is fair to alienate someone and make them feel that they are not welcome here. I personally will copy and paste any nasty PM i get. I got one email that I felt that for my own safety it was best that I didnt paste it here even though the problem started here but that is ONLY because it could have affected my personal safety. I know that I am rambling but those who have gotten to know me know that it is something that I do. Its just that I am ticked that there was even and allegation of nasty PMs. I told some one just the other day that since I am a big mouth and I dont like to see people walked on, made fun of, harrassed, or treated poorly, I speak up for them?? In all honesty what do I have to lose?? Big deal I might make some one who did whatever it was mad. DO I care?? NO not really because that person just did something to some one that I consider a friend. Everyone here has an opinion and everyone here believes something. Might not be the same as everyone else so deal with it. And move on. There I am done for now. Sorry if I have offended any of my friends here. Just something that I had to say.

Why not let us all know the real reason or the real person behind why you are going to leave??

I totally agree!!!!!!!!! This is a yorkie forum for gods sake what could anyone need to send a nasty pm about.

I think you said it all!!! I love it on here, I can't believe that people are causing problems. It's not just with one or two people but when this happens it happens to pretty much all of us! I need everyone here. I have never had a yorkie before and if it weren't for everyone here I probably wouldn't have Callie!!! As a matter of fact, I have never had a dog this small before. You have ALL been very helpful to me and I appreciate you all for it!

I encourage you to forward any nasty PM you get to the admin. We want to keep YT as pleasant as possible for everyone.

Also, I don't know if people know this, but if you view another member's profile, you have the option to add them to an "Ignore List." If someone is repeatedly irritating you but their post isn't serious enough for a "Report Post," it might be a better option to add them to an ignore list and just ignore them altogether.

I agree with everything you said, Kelly!!! Sooo true. I don't think I could have said it better myself.
We are a family here! Famlies do have disagreements and arguements, and then talk about it, then move on!!! No reason to be nasty to anyone.
We are all here for one main reason- that we love yorkies, our babies!!!! Not to insult each other!

Thanks for adding that. I was just mainly venting.
