Turn her in :mad: Not a mo. ago i helped a yorkie and took her to the vet, i did have permission, but vet told me least here that you can take a dog that is in danger or hurt and abused off of somebody's property !

I definitely think you should NOT take the dog. As awful as the situation is, you have to go through the proper channels. Do what you can to help this poor animal, but don't risk getting in trouble. You can't help him from jail.

My night was spent thinking of what I would do. I knew I couldn't steal him because I did not want to end up in jail but I couldn't stand to just leave it alone. I called a lady that my mom knows that is a huge animal lover and has plenty of money. I told her the situation and she said that she was willing to buy the dog from her. Today I went to the lady's house and she wasn't home. I waited and I saw her car pool in, she seemed in a better mood today. I went up to her and told her that if she would sell the dog I know someone that would be willing to buy it. We talked a while and negotiated a while and she told me she would sell it for $500, The dog was only 10 months old. I called my moms friend that lives a couple hours away and she told me she just had to stop by the bank and pick up the cash and she will be there ASAP. I told the lady that I had a buyer and she agreed. I talked to my brother since he is a lawyer if he could please come up with a quick paper so that she can sign that the dog was sold. My moms friend came about 2 and a half hours later and gave the lady the cash. She handed over the papers and all of the dog's stuff and the dog. My mom's friend took him home :). I was so happy. As my moms friend left I realized that I forgot to take a picture!! I will ask to see if she could take one to show you guys!

That lady should be turned in. People who don't propperly care for their animals should have to acount for themselves. It's more thatn a hobbie. It's alot of resposibilty. The dog will probally escape again..hopefully. Keep an eye out for it,and if it happens again,take it somewhere else. I would have been crying also. Good luck,and let us know the updates..if any.

Thank you everyone but the real thanks is to you guys. If this would have happened a few months ago I probably would have looked away. Being on YorkieTalk has made me very sensitive with dogs and having a dog myself has made me realize how wonderful dogs are and that they deserve every bit of the life that we give them, because at the end of the day the unconditional love that they give is like no other. I just felt that this dog deserved a good chance to having a good life and to have the life that he deserves and I did what I felt was right. I want to thank everyone for your advice and support and I am glad that I can always come to you guys when I need some good insightful advice.
