Yeah Um Ok, How could you not know?? |
What I wanna know were her menstral cycles normal. because if i'm a day late i think i have a problem. I'm like freakin clockwork. How could you go six months without and not wonder at least a little bit if there might be a problem? |
That what I was thinking.. |
I have heard a couple of stories like that and everytime I just don't understand how someone can say they did not know...what did they think that they just all of a sudden got big boobs and a huge bump of a belly...I mean come on!! It is called denial... |
that's interesting. I had a friend that was 6 months along before she ever found out she was pregnant. She was never regular in her cycles and the months that she did have a period, it would be very light. I guess it's possible. |
I have heard of this quite a few times actually, and it is entirely possible...... sometimes the mentrual flow doesnt stop during pregnancy (i saw this on the discovery channel) and the fetus gains approxamatly 50% of its weight in the LAST trimester, these baby stories like this have a pattern of giving birth to PREMATURE babies, so depending on their physical appearance they might not even know they were pregnant because they wouldnt get any bigger than they are normally. this happened to a friend of my mother in law and and she was kind of a "big lady" and she obviously didnt show. The baby was born premature adn she never knew she was pregnant, had her period every month and everything..... it just happens sometimes. My cousin was preganant and she didnt show at all either, adn she carried till full term! |
IT most certainly can & does happen :) I have never been regular ever  Isnt that a neat story,a lil MiRaClE :angel2dl: |
wow..i think if i was i would def. know.. i dont see how you couldnt! |
Well that sure is weird. How could she not feel her baby moving on her belly????? That sure is veryyyy weird!!!!!!!! |
i want to see a picture of the mom......... and you cant really feel the baby moving if you are a "bigger woman"....... sorry, i am addicted to the discovery channel :D (its the only tv i watch) you cant really tell in the picture how big she is around the middle (if you know what i mean)........ and the baby certainly doesnt look like it is 1 lb  |
it is possible!my own mother was pregnant of me and still had her periods until she was 6 months pregnant. she didtn gain weight either. when she went to the doctor for allergies they tooka urine test and they found out she was pregnant she freaked out. she was having regular periods and never felt any different. i on the other hand was on birth control patch when i got pregnant of my son and at 1 month i told my doctor i could feel something moving in my belly, supposedly it was gas, i took 12, yes 12 home pregnancy test, the docs took a blood test a pap smear and yes an ultra sound and still told me i wasnt pregnant. by the time i was 3 and a half months i took another home pregnancy test, i was feeling very sick and week i guess from being on the patch and pregnant at the same time, and finally it was positive. when i went back to the doctor they did another ultrasound and what do you know theres a baby!!!! not everyones body is the same so strange things can happen. |
1 lb 6 oz!!!!! HOLY COW!!!!! |
Gee whiz, woman?!!! That's a crazy story. thanks for sharing, I hadn't heard that one yet. |
I heard of another case like that one. It still amazes me though... Can you imagine just waking up one day, life is regular, and then delivering a baby you didn't even know you were carrying that very afternoon! Talk about dramatic! |
I was 4 1/2 months pregnant with my daughter when I found out...it is possible. There are a lot of "normal" things that seem to be going on...I was starting college and assumed like always I didn't have a period because of stress. 6 months is a long time to not know...but I know it's possible. Also I agree, that baby doesn't look like she is only 1 pound...my son only weighed 3 and he looked half that size and had tubes and wires hooked up to everything...I also don't know of a hospital that would release a baby that small so soon. but hey I don't live there and I don't know anything about the baby or mom so I guess I should shut up. |
