Gramma is home!!! Gramma came home today from the rehab center/nursing home to live with me this morning. She is so happy to be out of there and here with me where she can have the cat and the dogs as company. She loves how I decorated her room. She also loves living in a bigger house. Just thought you would all like to know. She has to have oxygen on all the time but that is OK. Im so happy that she is here too. :) :) |
Yeah, Gramma! You two are going to have a great time together with the pups and the boys and your new love! You are so lucky to have Gramma with you! Life is good ain't it? |
That is so great! You are a good person Kelly! I wish you and your gramma lots of fun times and tons of laughter! |
My gramma said on the way home today that she is so happy that some one in her family cares enough to open their home to her. She is very hurt that I am the only one out of her 25 grandkids and 7 kids that cares enough. She was looking pretty depressed when she said it so I made her laugh. I said, "Ya know what Gram? F em." For some reason my sarcasm makes her laugh every time. |
You are such a good person. I bet she must be very happy! ;) |
my grandmother lived with my family for years... i was always her favorite, she told me so.... she was actually my best friend... i miss her so much.. have fun with gramma, make her feel real welcome. you have a kind heart....i wish mine was still here.. |
I am my grams fav. She has told me many times. She is also my best friend. I wouldnt be the person that I am today without my gramma. The funny thing is though is that my one aunt and uncle are so money hungry. They think that when the horrible day comes and my gram passes they are going to cash in on her. But the funny part is, they aren't in her will. I am the sole hier to her estate. Everything that happens from there is at my descretion. The reason for this is because I am the only one that has taken care of her. Before she got sick I would mow her lawn, shovel her driveway, do all her gardening, everything. No one else has lifted a damn finger to help her. You all know how busy I am. But I never have thought twice about anything that I have done for her. My life goes on hold when she needs something. There is no doubt about that. |
and you will sleep good every single night... they will have to live with the guilt for the rest of their lives if there is any.... your wonderful.. you sound just like me... a great heart...... |
Thank you. My family just bugs me about how they think that they are so great when they aren't. Most of my family looks down on me because I am tattooed and pierced and I will tell some one to f-off in the middle of church. I speak my mind whenever and wherever I am. But the hell with them cause who is here right now taking care of gramma?? |
She is very lucky to have you (and you her). Hope you have tons of fun together. |
Kelly you are an amazing woman! A new guy, a newhorse and a new roomie all in a couple of days! God bless you for taking your Gramma! I wish I had half your energy! I'll bet your little boys are loving having her too! How old are they? |
My boys are loving having her here. They are 8 and 12 years. They love thier GG as they call her. My Grammas home was always open to us kids so my home is always open to her. Thanks for the compliments BTW |
