EEK! Hanna Hanna is coming tomorrow, I grew up here in wilmington so Ive had my fair share of hurricanes but its always a little frightening! Its not her so much Im worried about but Ike whos coming in behind her, already a cat 4... Please keep us in your thoughts~ thanks Jennifer |
I live in E. Texas so we just got a lot of wind and rain from Gustav, and some relatives from the coast that stayed a few days ;) Do you have to evacuate? Maybe Hanna and Ike will lose some strength before they hit. Take care of yourself  Betsi |
We are keeping our eyes on Ike, 140 mph winds  |
EEK is right! I'll be so glad when hurricane season is over:laugh: Stay safe everyone:hands: |
If it's any consolation...Hanna isn't a hurricane...it's a tropical storm. The rain will reach my area late tonight and through tomorrow. We actually need the rain it's bringing in our area. |
My sister-in-law and her fiance live in Wilmington. Be safe and careful!! I'll be thinking about you guys! |
I can't imagine living where there's hurricanes on an annual basis:eek:. Earthquakes are bad enough:(. My prayers go out to you and to all in the path of these storms. Stay safe and keep us updated!!! |
BUCKLE DOWN! We are still reeling from our visit from Gustav! We are without power probably another week.. YUCK! We were blessed as we have no serious damage here but Thank Goodness for generators! Just take the advice given and get out if they advise it! We had more damage from Gustave than we have EVER had in our area and there were few injuries because they got everyone out! Good Luck to you! GO AWAY IKE! |
Hanna's out rains have reached us. Reporting from Virginia - Deb Cantroree. ;) |
