Rae I was named after my dad. The only time it got used was when I got in trouble growing up. Now the only time it gets used is by my nieces and nephews, they call me Aunt Rae Rae. |

........shhhhhh its a secret~! Suzanne... Phffttt~! I ended up with the "old fashion name":rolleyes:.. My two sister have girly girl first and middle names... Monique Michelle and Kristina Marie... and I am just plain... Jillian Suzanne (But it is kind of cool to have a "Z" in my name :D Not sure why it was picked.. my mothers name is Susan so maybe she just wanted to change it up a little. *shrugs* |

I am expecting... I don't have one:( I don't know why but out of 6 kids my mum only gave one of us a middle name, my 3rd brother the baby of the family(kinda, he's a twin but he was born last!) his name is Paul Joseph. I always felt so left out at school when other kids were revealing their embarassing middle names that I vowed any children I had would all have middle names. These are my little ones middle names;Claire,Anne,Conor and Rose!:D |

mine has a story behind it.....if i had been a boy i would have been named Carl Lynn....well when i was born my mom named me after a girl in high school named Cynthia Bryson....but dad was sort of sad (his name is Carl) so they put Carl Lynn together and came up with Carlene...so im Cynthia Carlene....but i go by Cindy |

I got the name Ellen from a Grandmother also. Actually, a step grandmother. Her name was Nellie, so it must have been a nick name for Ellen. |

Whitney Ellen. You always knew you were in trouble when you heard "WHITNEY ELLEN!!!!!" My daughter is Amanda Marie and Ashley Nichole. They hate their names because EVERYONE has the same name. :( Actually Amanda graduated this past year with a girl who had the same first, middle and last name. :( and for the longest time I forgot I had put the 'h' in Nichole and was spelling it wrong. I'm such a bad mom :( :rolleyes: |
:) This is all so interesting. My middle name is Sue, First name is Darlene. I didn't know very many when I was in school. But it never bothered me. My mother liked Darlene Sue, and Susan Marie. She asked my sisters which one they liked, and I got Darlene Sue. (by the way, my sister's are Linda Ann and Jane Elizabeth, which is the reverse of my mother's name, Elizabeth Jane) My daughter's name is Barbara Anne, after the Beach Boy's song. She hates it. :p |
this is an interesting thread:) Mine is Gae (which I hate). I wished I liked my middle name, so I Could use it instead of my first name, which I also dislike. I used to ask my mom if she didn't want kids and that is why she saddled me with such an awful name...she swears that isn't true, but I'm not convinced...especially since she never had another one:p |
