My Uncle's Store is going to be in the new Friday The 13th Movie LOL
 
For those of you who like scary movies, if you go to see the new Friday The 13th movie (released on February 13th 2009 - a Friday :p) pay close attention to the old looking Texas store that's in the movie - it's my Uncle's :p You'll know it's the store because the people that go inside of it in the movie get AXED when they come out :eek: lol :laugh:

They asked my uncle if they could use his store to shoot part of the movie and said that they would pay him $8000 for using it for a day, so he accepted LOL. They changed the sign (the name of the store) to something else, just for the movie, and also painted some things and hung some deer heads up (I have no idea why :confused: lol) - but they put everything back the way it was after they were done shooting/filming just like they said they would :p

Anyway, I just thought it was kinda neat and had to share my excitement :D I know, get a life huh :rolleyes: LOL :p

That is SOOO cool! I'm a huge scary movie lover, so I'll keep my eye out for your uncle's store! :D

That is really neat. I like scary/suspense flicks, not not blood and gore.

Did your uncle get a part in the movie as an extra?

That's so exciting - and profitable:D!! I wonder if they just drive around looking for places to use in movies. Or is your uncle's store near where the movie is being filmed?

Friday the 13 movies are too much for me!! I am a scaredy cat just the music from the show scares me to thinking someone is in the house:rolleyes: when I was growing up my hall light looked too much like Jason's Hockey mask for my liking. I would be too scared to use the potty at night:eek: My mom used to say she never worried about me sneaking out at night cause I thought Jason, Freddy, Mike, and the clown were all waiting to get me!

I think because everyone in Texas is supposed to have deer heads on their walls:rolleyes:

Don't you hate that!! I lived in Georgia for a littel while. When I moved there and ppl found out I was from Texas I got the dumbest questions. There were lots of ppl that thought Texans rode horses everywhere. It's crazy that ppl see things in movies and think that that's how all of Texas is!
