Scared the holy crap out of myself Omgosh my heart is STILL racing. I got out of the shower and was doing my hair. The medicine cabinet in there has three pannels. Each pannel is a mirrored door. Well, I was looking for the frizz tamer stuff (I hate when it rains lol) and it wasn't in there. I went to look in the other cabinet and when I turned around someone was looking back at me! I nearly pooped myself right then and there. THEN....I realized it was ME! I left the mirrored door on the far right open accidently so when I turned around I saw my reflection. :yelrotflm Don't think you won't ever say a REALLY bad word either. Because I promise when you know you are the only person in the house and you turn around to someone looking at you, you WILL say a bad word - and you might even need another shower too! |
How Funny!!:eyetearss:eyetearss:eyetearss I've done that a few times and isn't it a relief to know its just you!! |
OMG, that's scary! Like something you see in the movies where someone is in the house looking in your mirror! A nightmare for sure! Glad everything was OK. Hope your heart stops pounding soon. LOL |

hehe, LOVE IT! YOU MADE MY DAY! :p I HATE WHEN I DO THAT! |
ROFL, Aerrica:yelrotflm. I don't blame you; it would have scared the crap outta me too:eek:. I'll never forget the time when I was probably about 16, my grandparents had some friends (two older sisters) who lived in this OLD OLD big house....one of those sort of Victorian houses that their father had lived in, so it had to be really really old. It was sort of hidden back from the road but up on a little knoll with trees and shrubbery so you couldn't see it from the road. It was actually close to town, but when you were there, you felt like you were a million miles from anywhere. Anyway, they had all this old furniture and stuff, and I always felt kind of weird in the house (Grandpa kept his burros there, so we were there a lot, but usually outdoors).... Anyway, one night we were having dinner in their dining room, where I'd never been before; it was kinda dimly lit b/c of the old wiring and lighting and I didn't realize there was a plate glass window at the end of the dining table~ I looked up and all of a sudden, I saw someone looking in at us:eek:. I almost had a heart attack right then and there. I seriously don't think I've ever been that scared in my life! A few minutes later, I realized it was my reflection, but man.....those things stay with you, don't they? Well, it's only been 40 yrs now and I still haven't forgotten it, LOL. Hope your heart rate has gone back to normal by now, hehe. |
:grin2: That's funny but scary @ the same time. Sounds like something I would do. ;) |
every morning when i get up to feed lexi, i go into the kitchen to the fridge and pass by the window and scare my self, because when i open the light, i see my reflection,, lexi looks to the window every morning and barks as she knows she will see something.. ya think i would keep the shades down. sometimes she runs onto the table , jumps on the chair first, so so fast to get to the reflection and slides off the other end of the table. shes too much...i hear a thump, and lexi is on the floor.. shes too quick for me,, thank god shes not tiny and she doesnt get hurt... i have to rememeber to close those shades at night |
:lol tears |
hahahaha!!! one time in a public bathroom i was washing my hands and when i went to the corner to dry my hands i noticed someone in the corner of my eye just standing there staring too and i got annoyed and looked up and it was me  |
LOL Ive jumped at my own reflection before also... I have the same medicine cabinet set up with the 3 mirror panels also! Glad you are ok and still alone! :) |
OMG you poor thing!! I guess those new gray hairs will sprout one day soon...ha ha...just kidding! Glad it was your reflection and no one else's! |
Oh yes, I've done this. Recently too!! Just moved into a different house with stairs, ... #1 I'm not used to the stairs, since I've never lived in a house that had stairs before. #2, we took down a big mirror the prior owners had up. It's sitting against a wall @ the top of the stairs. So everytime I came up stairs, I'd see this other person at the top of the stairs!!! ITS ME.. LOL! I scared myself 3 times, but now I'm used to it. LOL! |
AHHH! I am so scared of tricky mirrors and rollercoasters. I would have fainted dead away! Thanks for the laugh and the gut check! |
