Raccoon vs. Yorkie Scare...
 

This is kind of a combination of three threads I've started. One about a raccoon that fell on our 4 X 6 foot skylight shattering both panes of glass one about the raccoons trashing my pond and taking all of my Koi and another about the death of my MIL.

Well on Friday, the morning of my MIL funeral service, we awoke to more raccoon issues. They had been in our pond again and got several of our fish. They were still out there when my DH let our dogs out in the morning. The dogs chased the raccoon under the deck and my DH decided to block the raccoon under the deck so he couldn't escape. I was concerned for numerous reasons, one because we were hosting the get together after her funeral. So here we are with 50 plus guests walking all over our deck when my sister-in-law, who's sitting on the deck steps, hears whining and pawing under her butt. We realize on of the yorkies is under the deck so my DH grabs a hammer and starts tearing boards off the deck and rescues Brady from the raccoon. Thank god he didn't get hurt. Hopefully the raccoon was tramatized from being trapped for that long and having to endure hours of people walking overhead that he'll never return to our yard!!!:eek::eek::eek:
