I'm sooooo BORED! I have been stuck in the house all week because of the tropical storm and I am officially going crazy! I can't take it anymore! The storm has passed us and we are actually having periods where the rain stops all together but the roads are so flooded I'll be stuck here the rest of the day at least. Troy did venture out to his work, which is very close by, to take a conference call so maybe I can try to get out to the grocery or something. This was supposed to be the first week of school. I was so excited to get back to a normal routine. Theres always next week I guess... Caren and Cuzio, how did y'all do? |
sorry your so bored, but i'd rather be bored at home anytime then be bored at work...or even at work.,... thank god for yt huh? do some online shopping, thats what i would do... well i just did.. hope it stops raining soon.. |

I understand exactly how you feel..except it happens to us in the winter time with snow. I hate being stuck at home. Most of the time I am busy at home and have plenty to do, but when I'm stuck home...I feel like I'm losing my mind. Glad you were able to get out for a little while. |
Sorry your flooded in! Im bored too. I went out earlier and got a gift for My Daughters friends birthday party but now I have nothing to do. I have nothing to clean in my house. I quess Ill give the furbabies a bath |
Mine need baths too. They were scheduled for the groomer today but it was rescheduled for next Thursday and they need baths but I don't feel like it. My house is clean but I could do laundry. I just don't feel like doing anything. Sitting around all week has turned me into a slug. I'm reading my daughter's new Stephanie Meyers book so I have that at least. |
I'm bored too, but at work :) And I'd rather be at home! |
My parents live in Port St. Lucie and I spoke with my Mom the other day. They were getting a good bit of rain also...but luckily, nothing damaging. |
oh that stinks you are flooded in. Last year we had some major flooding here and I heard while I was at work that the road by my house flooded and people were being evacuated. I was at work and PANICKING bc my dogs were home and I was at work. It took me 3 hours to get home due to multiple roads being closed to flooding! It was a nightmare! I finally get home, fly in the house and they were fine. I didnt even have a drop of water in my basement or anything. Im such a dork! Im bored too..... Im at work though. Ive been flying under the radar here bc Im looking for a new job so I dont want a new project just in case I end up leaving. so Ive been quiet here and just doing 'enough' to keep myself out of trouble. Well my boss tells me today how happy she is with me and how Im keeping up with things she can't do and its keeping us out of trouble with our software vendor... My jaw was on the floor! HAHAHAHA Here I was thinking shes probably wondering what the heck Ive been doing for 40hours a week to earn my pay! |
Me too!! I hope your flooding goes away quickly. House is cleaned, Health club closed all week for maintenance and I need to stick around with Roxie who is recovering from her spay yesterday. At least I have an exercise class I can go to at a different place tonight. Pretty sad when your bummed the gym is closed. |

LOL, I totally understand. My yoga class was cancelled because the road the studio is on is closed due to flooding. I figured it would be but then some of the roads opened today and I got hopeful. They called a little bit ago to say they were still closed and I got bummed all over again. You can see pictures of the flooding here- floridatoday.com | Brevard Storm Galleries | FLORIDA TODAY Many houses in my neighborhood have water damge so we were just so lucky. Our garage leaked a little but that is it. One of my husband's coworkers is still having to use a raft to get to his house. It is so flooded he thinks they are going to have to gut it to salvage it. His son's car was also totalled from the water. It's so bad.:( |

Although this spring we did have lots and lots of flooding. My SIL was flooded out of her house, while my BIL was flooded in! My daughter and sil are in Destin this week and she said it isn't even raining there  I figured it would be. Good Luck, I hope everything returns to normal soon. :fingerscrossed: |
