Normal ? Ok I need some help, please. My husband and I have been married for over a year and we dated for over 7 years. We have talked about having children and how it would be nice to do it why we still live near family. He finishes his MBA in a year and we are moving. Well last night he said if I wanted we could start trying to have a baby. Ahhhhh  is this a normal reaction, I have always wanted children but now that he says lets go for it I am kind of scared . I just need to know if this is normal or a sign we should wait. |
I think this is normal. The only suggestion I make is to really think about if you are ready at this point in your life. The older you are the more mature you are and are able to handle the responsibility better. Children change your whole life and there is no going back..... I think once you stew on it awhile it won't seem so scary. I just wished that I had waited til I had all my oats sowed before I started having my children. I had one at 20 and the other at 24. I was more ready for the second child than the first. I was more mature. I love being a mom though and wouldn't know what to do without my children! Good luck!!!!!!!!! |
One word Normal!!!!:d |
Completly normal, well I hope it is! I am 31 (today!) been married for almost 5 years and we are now talking about babies. I am completely freaked out....I am in the right place in my life, great husband, we bought our 1st home last year, good jobs....but still freaked out! |
It is normal to be scared about the parent thing. But, if you fear is really, really freaking you out - maybe you're not ready quite yet........ |
Thank you all for your imput |
