my computer is irrepairable. can.t afford another one right now. i'm posting this from my phone which is difficult. i.ve missed guessing our ge buddy this time. btw-our buddy.s gift will be shipped thursday along with the prize i donated to the raffle. i have a few days in a row off next week so i may attempt to get a sale together . i.ve probably got another hundred or so items that i could sell to get a computer fund going

Have you ever thought of getting a computer for the time being from someone who reformats computers then sells them? My boyfriend parent's bought one from this used computer store here and it works great. I mean it isn't brand new of course and doesn't have all the latest bells and whistles but it'd be good until you could afford a brand new one! I think they paid like $150 for it, maybe less.

Good luck on whatever you do though!

thanks. i.ve been looking for a good deal locally. as long as the comp runs and can do internet thats all i need. i sell a good bit on ebay so not having a comp is hard. i go to campus to use their.s when i need to but it'd be better to have one at home

I feel for ya! We've been having a lot of PC problems lately too. We went through about 5 in the space of a month:eek:But these we're all cheap/freebies that were all well past their 'Best Before Date' I got along using my fella's PSP, not the easiest thing to use but better than a phone! Does anyone you know have one of these you could lend for a while? Although you would also need wireless. I finally plucked up the courage to order a brand new laptop on credit, I really wanted to avoid this but I just could'nt cope anymore! Good luck and I hope you can come back soon!

any internet cafe's near you? I hope you get that new PC very soon! Both my son & hubby have recently got new Laptops so I have aquired hubbys old one..its a bit slow sometimes:rolleyes:...but I have more time on here now I don't have to share!:thumbup: I will get myself a new one in the January sales I think...so i'm hoping this old thing will last till then!;):p

I know Wal-mart sells computers and they dont cost too much. You could check them out. I'm not sure what your budget is but I know that is what I am going to do once I get caught up on some bills because we only have a laptop right now and we'd like a desktop. I hope you can get one soon!!
