I saved two doggies today! Hey everybody! I did a good deed today. Me and my husband were driving home and I saw two dogs walking along the side of the road. I screamed at my husband to pull over. Me and Adam are both experienced in handling all types of dogs so we got out, and luckily the dogs were both super friendly. They had tags on them with their address so me and Adam brought them back to their house. Their owner was very grateful. I feel like I did a really good deed. I know that if my dogs got loose and I didn't know it, I would want someone to bring them back to me too. :) Just thought I'd share my happy story! |

GOod Job. I would be very grateful if it were my dogs. :) |
Awwww, you are an angel. I sure hope if I ever have a lost pet there is someone just like you to find my beloved pet. I bet you had a smile on your face all day for what you did....Great job!! |
What a kind thing you did! |
:good job: :bravo: :bravo: :bravo: |
You did a good thing. My westie is an adventurer and an escape artist and if given the opportunity she is "off" and gone. If workers open the gate or she figures a way under the fence or someone leaves a door open for a second, she is off to parts unknown and we have to go get her. I have tags on her and the neighbors have called me because they picked her up or saw her on one of her adventures. I am always so grateful because I worry myself sick when she gets out and I don't know what I would do if she was hit by a car or attacked by a coyote or something. Sometimes even good owners have unfortunate things happen or accidents so please be kind and try not to judge too harshly. |
I did the same thing several month ago... my son came home and told me there was 2 poodles down the road and one was laying on the side of the road , he said it looked like it was hit by a car. I jumped in the car and went down the road..one was dead  ..I got the other one to come to me . I brought it home, called the police and told them what happened. I gave them my phone number so that when the owner called they would know where their dog was. It was so hard to tell them one of their dogs was dead. They said the dogs got away from them. But, they were happy I kept the other dog from getting hit. |
That happened to me a few months ago as well. I was walking to go get my mail, I live in track homes and my mail box is about a 3 minute walk from my house. Anyway, it was dark outside and I just happened to look behind me and I seen this little creature following me. I just seen the glowing eyes and I thought it was a cat so I didn't think anything of it. It ended up being a little pomeranian puppy. Oh she was adorable!! I wanted to keep her so bad!! I brought her home and asked my boyfriend to drive me around the neighborhood. Someone had to be looking for her. We found her daddy after just a few minutes. He was outside calling her name and I asked him if he was missing his dog. He said yes and I asked him what kind of dog it was. He said a pom. I had to make sure I wasn't giving her to the wrong person. I felt really good that night, too! You should be proud of yourself!! :D |

Just a thought. |
:bravo: :bravo: Good job . |
Kim, I agree. The lady I brought them back to was very nice and was very concerned. She was waiting for her hubby to come home so that they could go look for them. Apparently they listen to the hubby better than her. I did not judge at all, I never thought "Oh what a bad owner." It can happen to anybody and like I said; if heaven forbid my dogs got loose I would want someone to bring them back to me. They are my babies. I've seen good dogs from good owners get loose. Accidents happen to everybody. Even if they didn't have tags I would've helped them. Collars can fall off, tags can fall off, you just never know. I just didn't want to see them get hit or hurt. |
Great job, we need more people like you out there = ) |
You are angels for doing that!! I probably would have done it too You rock!! |
Good job! I am sure the owners were so relieved to get their dogs back. |
