What are guys thinking sometimes?!?!?!?! I live with my BF and right now he has two guy friends over who i dont really know. So i have let him have the living room for the past 4 hours while i sit in the one and only bedroom doing nothing! My BF and i need to go to the grocery store tonight so i can get the things i need to make pasta salad and a pie to bring over his mothers tomorrow, plus the things i need to make for him to bring to his potluck at work next week. They wanted pizza so i told bf that they should go to the store (with me) and pick some frozen ones up and save money. THEY LEFT WITHOUT ME!! So i went to take Buff for a walk with the intentions of staying til bf came and asked whats wrong... he didnt! This is probably just my raging emmotions but im pretty mad. I have to wake up at 5am tomorrow and work. He just said i was being a butthead wanting them to leave by 730 so we can go to the store as we planned. UGH, and i wrong??... |
to add to it... When he went to the store and got 5 pizzas, he got home and asked me if i want one. I asked if he got one especially for me and he said i can have any one that i want. Clearly he was not thinking of me because they all had sausuage on them which i really dont like!!!! we have been dating for 3 years, shouldnt he know by now!!?? |
The title says it all: They don't think, we have to think for them !!! |
I forgot to mention this, when girls get together , they can be male-bashers...At least they were just into themselves and I'm sure you can forgive him....(but don't let him forget) |
Sometimes men are just jerks and selfish themselves I deffinately think you should let him know that it bothers you that he wasnt taking into considerations of your other prior plans its really important to communicate in relationships!:) and then maybe he will see that you were right he was wrong and he'll make you a nice bath and maybe a massage!?!:) |
Let him make his own pot luck next week. |
Ugh...sounds just like my ex (which is why he's my ex!) Whenever he would have friends over to our 1 bedroom apartment I would be shoved off into the bedroom to sit by myself for HOURS. Men are selfish jerks sometimes (actually a lot of the time). You should let him know you're none too happy with his inconsiderate behavior. |

Does he do this all of the time? If this is a once in a while thing, I wouldn't worry too much about it. If it were me, I wouldn't be upset so much with what he was doing, more than he was doing it KNOWING that there were other obligations the two of you needed to fulfill. And I have to agree with others, I would let him fix his own potluck and food for mom's. |
does he do this often? If not, let it go... trust me its sooo not worth the fight.. pick your battles! Are you capable of going to the store and picking up what you need? I know this was last night but instead of being in the bedroom alone for 4 hours I would have gone to the store then did my baking and stuff in the kitchen while they were all in the living room. I know it didnt seem fair at the time, but this is going to happen once in awhile and hes going to try to be with his friends since guys rib each other when it comes to being 'whipped' or whatever they call it when they show their girl affection around the guys. As long as your guy is a great guy TO YOU then you can let nights like last night slide once in awhile. As long as it does not become habit. Next time, get out and do your THANG girlfriend! You don't need him to go to the food store, well unless you don't drive and he does. :) |
