I thought that might be the case, but was hoping it might be an option. I fully understand your feelings about the feeding tube but, it will get easier with time and practice. My daughter has gone through feeding tubes, trachs, G-tubes and more. She's a pro at it now and does better than some of the nurses that come to help with my grandaughter. You are doing such a great job with Emma. You're an angel. |
Prayers, prayers and time to heal for Emma. The stitching this time looks very sore and deffinately must be painful for that little girl. Hope you somehome continue feeding her as you have been.I'm sure you'e keeping her warm :) ...going to check her on Live Cam Genie,Cookie,Lola,Angel & Lucky |
Oh my gawsh I am so sorry that you and Emma both are having to go through all this. Especially with a Dr. who seemed to not care so much today. I can't even imagine going through a 3rd round of stitches and not having anything to control the pain. Sending prayers :hands: |
Her little face looks raw this time! That's upsetting! Sending even more prayers your way! |
Sending prayers and hoping for the best. What an awful weekend you two have had. Hopefully Monday will bring healing and happiness into your day. |
Poor baby and you must be so exhausted. Praying baby Emma can heal quickly. |
Okay, I have seen YT prayers in action before...let us all gather our thoughts and prayers for Emma to heal properly and thrive!!! We can do this, I believe and I have faith...now we pray...Amen. |
Poor little baby... I hold my breath, lump in throat everytime I open this thread hoping that she is doing better and healing... Why cant they give her some pain meds?? She must be in so much pain having the same area stiched three times... poor kid! Puppies tend to heal up quickly though so maybe in a day or two the area will just heal up. |
I just pulled the live link back up to see how the little squirmy baby was doing. boy she is all over the place. She doesn't seem to happy without her snuggle toys! I just saw you place the sign that is too cute. I do appreciate the sign though because I have paniced a couple of times when I checked on her and she wasn't there! How many granny's does this little baby have!! |
Dena, My heart aches for you and Baby Emma. You're doing everything humanly possible for her and I pray to God this works this time. Hopefully the pain will go away fast and she'll be able to eat again without the tube, I know how much that scares you and after reading on tubing early this AM, I understand the risks a lot more clearly. My prayers are with you & Baby Emma whole heartidly and I hope things start going better for the both of you. Thank you so much for hanging on with her and giving her every fighting chance possible. |
