Forgive me for taking a quick turn away from Emma in this thread... just wanted to share for a moment...

I will be updating on baby Emma in just a bit! :) (you won't BELIVE how BIGGGG she's getting!!!)

[BTW ... thank you so much for sharing Baby Emma with us! I haven't been posting but watch her every day that her cam is on! You are such a wonderful caring person to give so much of yourself for that innocent little baby. Keep up the good work!]

Another great big THANK YOU to Sue (doglover10465) for another precious gift that Emma received!!

Sue, such a lovely and SO SOFT little blankie!! Sweet lil' embroidered paw paws... we love it, thank you so much!

I'm working on some updated photos of lil' fancy face, everyone... so I'll get them posted in a while....

In the mean time, her webcast is up and running - though she has a full belly and just laid down for a nap, so not much going on over there... but it's up if you want to check in on her. :)

Emma is a big ol' 9.2 ounces today!! Such a big girl!!! :)

I think this week, I'll try her on potty pads, since she is coming along so nicely with pottying by herself....

I'm TRYING to get a lil' video of the most precious lil' growls and snarls that she does in play... just way too cute!! (but not on command, lol - so catching it is something else!!) ;)

I do have a concern... but I want to do a little research before I bring it up...

She is otherwise doing beautifully!!

Aweee, such a pretty blanket, the only thing that could make it prettier is Baby Emma standing on it :-) So glad to hear she's doing good, and what a lil porker she's getting to be, lol.

I just checked in on Lil Emma. She was "RUNNING" around everywhere and then stopped to wash her paw (so cute). :) She looks like such a happy little girl. And that pudgy little tummy . . . I just want to squeeze her to pieces. ;) Dena , I was wondering about when she starts to chew on toys , blankets , etc.. Will that cause problems with her mouth or the healing process? I know it is only natural for puppies to chew and there would be no way of stopping her. It looks like before to long the sides of her little palace might have to be extended as she is becoming quite active. lol I love being able to watch her progress. Keep up the good work Mommy and Lil Punkin Butt. You both are doing an AWESOME job. :)
BTW . . . Congrats on the precious little granddaughter. She is absolutely ADORABLE!

Emma already loves to bite and chew on her toys... but her incisions from the first surgical attempts have all healed well so I don't worry...

The chewing isn't near as bad as the nursing - - - where the suction from nursing causes so much pressure that it splits the cleft, the biting and chewing on soft blankets and toys doesn't seem to bother it at all thus far. :)
