Have you ever given or received an Edible Arrangement? I'm trying to decide whether to send someone an edible arrangement or a floral bouquet. This is a thank you gift. The fruit all looks good - but I just wonder if it will live up to it. It's a bit on the expensive side Edible ArrangementsĀ® Gourmet Gift Baskets and Floral Fruit Bouquets What experience have you had? |
I sent an edible arrangement (cookie bouquet) for a friend's birthday a couple years ago. It was a big hit, because I sent it to their office! I've only heard good things :) |
I've never sent or received a edible arrangment like that but it looks YUMMY! |
I'm looking at doing a fruit arrangement - I just want the fruit to be really tasty. I know how easy it is for fruit not to be good. I just thought this might be more enjoyable than a flower arrangement - although it won't last as long ;) |
I received one but I ma not a big fruit eater and there was so much fruit. It was very pretty and fresh so if the person loves fruit or has a big family who does it would make a nice gift. |
gone one. Loved it. |
We recieved one at work once. The fruit was very fresh but the arrangement wasn't nearly as impressive as the pictures (but neither are floral arrangements). There was only a couple of fruit "flowers"; the rest were pieces of fruit. Overall, I think I'd go with a floral arrangement. I can't imagine one person eating that much fruit in a day or two as I would think it'd go badly very quickly as the fruit is skinned and/or pierced. |
I loved the fruit arrangements!!! I have never sent one of those, but have sent cookies and they were great. I guess it would depend on the person that your sending it too, if they love fruit then they will love this. I would have been excited to receive anything including a card. :D:D:D |

it's for 2 people - I don't know if they like fruit - but they are pretty healthy people so I would imagine they do. Plus I'm sure they would share with their family. I just think if I send flowers the wife would enjoy them, but I'm not sure about the hubby |
I tried to send one to my friend in New Jersey. They didn't deliver there. So I sent a pajamagram instead! She loved it! Food and pj's, what's better than that? |
WoW ... they all look nice .... love them watering can arrangements .... I think it's a good Idea and something you would not get every time .... everyboby sends Flowers ..... |
I have seen a fruit arrangement before and they are amazing. Never had any of the fruit though so I can't comment there. I have sent and received cookie arrangements from cookies from Cookies by Design. They are so pretty and taste great.:D Gift Baskets | Cookie Bouquet | Unique Gifts | Birthday Gift Baskets |
I have sent some and received some! The fruit is always delicious and I've never been disappointed. |
They do have small arrangements if it's only for two.I've send them and received them, they are great, their prices, not so much. |
We just won a $50 gift certificate for one and DH is on his way to pick one up for my Mom's B-day dinner tonight....so, I'll not only get to see it but taste it! I'm thinking it's going to be on the smallish side.....but it is a nice alternative to flowers! |
gift We received one as a gift..it was great...BUT make sure the person has room in the fridge for one. We were able to take out a shelf on one side and it fit nicely...we ate the fruit for a week... There is a store near us and we went to look..that is when I saw the smaller arrangements. My hushand got me a small strawberry bouquet..I have send a few of those...works well for two people. |
Ive gotten a few edible arrangements and they were all PERFECT! The fruit was fresh and lasted for DAYS. Only the dipped strawberries seemed to go quicker. The chocolate on the fruit is sooooo delicious! I have never been disappointed by an edible arrangement. The only issue I have is its just me in my house and Ive never been able to finish one before I did have to throw some of the fruit away. |
Thanks for all the feedback! I had thought I would just order it online or over the phone - but I do like your idea YorkieRose to go see them in person, to get a better understanding of the size. |
I was actually just looking at these this morning to send to my cousin whose in the hospital! Unfortunately, they don't deliver in her location so I ended up just sending her a get well bed tray with goodies from FTD. I would love to send one to myself though to you know, try it out. :D |
They drop them by here at work from time to time. They are neat, but after a short while, the fruit just looks less than appealing... |
My mom bought one for the family to eat on Easter and it was very beautiful and very tasty. The whole thing is edible there is even a head of lettuce at the bottom that they steak the fruit into. I gave one to my stepmom for mothers day and had it delivered to her work and it was a big hit. |

I just received one a few weeks ago and loved it! Most of my fruit was dipped in chocolate and it was delicious!! It lasted really well in the refrigerator too. |
I have 3 times and the people i have sent it to loved loved it more than flowers! |
Ok, you all have me talked into. I just have to find time to get there and get it ordered. They are only open when I'm at work - and I am having trouble leaving in the midst of the day as my dd has been using my car until she leaves for college. Hopefully, I can get there tomorrow. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL THE GREAT FEEDBACK!! |
I have received two of these from my daughter and love, love, love them! Do not hesitate to send them as they are a perfect gift! Mine came from Incredible Edibles! |
My sister inlaw had some at her wedding and they were just beautiful and delicious:thumbup::thumbup: |
We actually just received one on Monday and we sent one to my mom this past friday because she had surgery! We have had them before and have loved them. I also have received a pajamagram and that was awesome and we have also ordered from cookies by design and those too are great hits! |
