Empty plasic coffee cans Everyone on here is so creative. I have a pretty good collection of plastic coffee cans going. Small and Large. What are some of the things you use them for?? |
Good question...I have a few large Folgers ones with the handle built in. And, they are too nice to throw out!! :D |
You could use them for lots of things...a roll of toilet paper should fit nicely in the smaller container to keep stored away in your vehicle. They make nice containers to store small odds and ends in too. We have a bunch attached to the wall in our shed holding tools and such. You could also punch a hole in the lid of one, stuff the container full of plastic shopping bags and voila!...a paper bag organizer/dispenser! :D |
I use these for my kids. They decorate them (i hot glue paper around them) then they add beads or rice or beans to make their own maracas or leave the the lids on them and nothing inside and we make a drum. |
ashtray! LOL Sorry I couldn't help it! :) uumm you could wrap them in material or gift paper in descending size order and plant a plant or flowers in them for a windowsill. |
Great for storing things in to camp in and keeping them clean. Or if anyone uses a tent still. |
i use them to put old used oil in them. |
You could donate them to a teacher so she could have a class project. ;) |
I used to paint a cow print on them and a cow head, fill full of artificial sunflowers with a big raffia bow and sold them at craft fairs. You could paint anything on them!! |
Bucket? I use them as a bucket for cleaning small jobs inside and out....;) Also for blueberry picking or whatever..... |
I use one with a little water in it.. for an outside ash tray.. We don't smoke but some of our friends do.. It keeps butts from misteriously appearing on the ground when we have people over. I would hate for one of my babies to pick up a cigarette butt. Yeck!! I also use them to store things in.. in the garage. I label tem. Also for out on the picnic table for a Napkin Holder.. They don't blow away in the wind. Also for Plastic forks, etc. |
Just thought of something else. A question... could you drill some holes in one.. be sure to label it.. and set it out with one of those ant bait thingies inside of it.. The ants could get in and get the granuels but your babies could not. Would this be safe? |
