I have to show that to hubby. He is the motorcyclist in the family. Love it. |
You want my opinion on this? I could not do it. As most know here I work with retired racers (greyhounds) and I have what is called a "six hole hauler". Its a trailer with six "crates" so I can take all the dogs on the road and they have their own spot. (air and heat) I have had this for about 2.5 years and REFUSE to use it. I could not relax going on a trip and worrying about the animals that I can not see and hear. And remember that Greys are used to traveling this way. My thinking is that if it is illegal to ride in a camper (humans) because of the danger if something were to go wrong, why would I risk my animals in one. They ALL ride with me in a HUGE SUV so they can be comfortable. We have even taken 2 cars on vacation so the animals have room to ride with me and DH followed with the rest of the party in his truck. |
I would not use one I too would want to be with my babies. I thought it was funny and cute though. |
Just to let you all know.. I or my daughter are not planning on running out to buy one of these.. I just thought the pics looked so darn cute.. and not my babies could not and would not be in one of those.. my good god.. I wanted to have some fun here... sorry if I offended anyone.. anne |
You in no way offended me. I though that you wanted an opinion? So a few of us gave you one. Remember in the internet there is no voice inflection...hard to know what is really being said. But there are a lot of people that do this..to each their own...I mean really..look how many dogs ride in the back of trucks. Another thing that my kids were never allowed to do..I am a such a stick in the mud...:D |

I will say that was an interesting site and a few cute pup faces.:p |
Well I guess to me the funniest thing reminded me of last summer.. we were in New Hamshire.. and stopped at a campsite.. there was a couple there that camped for the whole summer in a large 5 wheel... I might add with 9 cats.. well he was up the way from us.. but across from us sat one of this little new trailers that are so adorable.. can pull them with a small car I guess. well this couple bought a new on of these.. yes they did.. and he had a generator running all the time so he could run the air.. and pulled it from home to there for the summer and back again in the fall to home.. Well yup you guessed it.. he paid 10 grand for this tiny itsy bitsy trailer and it was used sole to take his 9 cats to the summer sseasonally campground and home again in the fall... I thought of them the minute I saw this.. My yorkies,, by the way if they are not on my knee.. they are up my butt... so since my butt is not that large and would not fit close enough to one of these trailer.. it just would not work...lol anne |
