Holy cow! :eek: How do you guys survive in heat like that!? Getting in your cars must be like stepping into a pizza oven!

Good grief, that's hot!

We've got the opposite problem here. It's rained more or less every day this "summer" & rarely reached 70 :(

Actually - it does. I put my sunglasses on the other day that stay in my car when I left work & thought I had 3rd deg. burns ....I can't WAIT for late september.

and the AIR CONDITIONING BILLS make it even worse...I had downgrade my phone plan to a bare minimum just so I can pay electricity. :(:(

I know my electric bill has been over 400/mo all summer. But i will starve before i turn the a/c off..lol

Same up here. We have a thunderstorm every single day it seems. But it only lasts for 20 min then it's sunny again. We just broke the record for rainiest July on record, but the plants are thriving and the air is cleaner because of it. We're probably a bit warmer though - it's been about 80 degrees all month.

See? Should'a held the olympics here instead of in stinky bad-air china. :thumbdown (Toronto lost to Bejing)

LOL - I'm doing !! (starving) ...I keep my thermostat at 80 which is not by any means cold ...if it were just me - I'd probably keep it higher just to keep down the cost down but can't...the girls would get too hot and even keeping it set so high my bills are still hard to keep up with.

ps....we won't even get into the cost of food these days...which is why my fridge is mostly empty ...it's just so hard to get by these days unless you make really really good money

NICE ! by the way - That's my birthtown (Toronto) .:thumbup::thumbup:

and I agree - why they held the Olympics in Bejing just blows my mind - people wear FACE MASKS the pollution is so bad.

You're kidding! I didn't know you were a canuck at heart! :)

Come on back V! I promise your A/C bill won't be quite so hard on you up here! I have a window a/c unit and I hardly turn it on - but then again they freeze me out in my office building (so bad that I'm wearing SWEATERS in July!) so when I come home I kinda enjoy the heat.

It is pleasant here today. Warm but not humid with some wind. Monday and Tuesday we are supposed to have a heat index of 100 and very humid so I am enjoying being outside while I can

We have had several days over 100 to 105. But is has been mostly in the mid 90's.. and I have been complaining.. now I think I will just be thankful. It is supposed to cool off today and tomorrow. YEA!!! I want fall temps...
