Kitten question Ive recently added 2 kittens to our family and Im loving it but were having poop problems. My bigger kitten is having diahrrea. Shes had it from day 1 here and I cant think of what else to try. We took her to the vet and they said she doesnt have anything, and shes on wellness kitten food so its not junk. The little kitten doesnt have it so Im at a loss. She seems happy and content and gaining weight. Could she be sensitive to the food? Like allergies? Shes not even gone near the dogs food and the only treats she had is small pieces of dehydrated samon from 3 dogy bakery called 'we pity the kitty'. Any ideas would be appreciated. |
Kitten I'd stop the "pitty the kitty" treats it has some fish oils in it and some cats if a rehabed outside kitten or new to your home it can be rough on they're insides. ty |
How long have you had them? Are you giving them tap water? If so, that might be upsetting them. Try giving some bottled water and see if it clears up. If it does, gradually re-introduce tap water by mixing increasing greater portions of tap water with the bottled, until they are on all tap water again. Water can vary between cities and sometimes even between neighborhoods. |
My cat had the same problem on wellness. |
