Scar Minimizer? Can anyone recomend a good scar minimizer? Been trying Mederma...it's OK, but I'm hoping I can find something better. Is there a product anyone's tried that really worked well? TIA. :) |
I would love to know this as well. I have used Mederma, too, but I don't think that it's that great...of course, my scar is larger than what they show on the commericals to use it on. Hopefully, someone can give some advice. Tammy |
Vitamin E might help |
I was told by a cosmetic dr the "sheets" of merderma type of stuff works the best of te over the counter stuff. Not sure what it looks like or what, never bought any. I find that shea butter works really well for scars. I have bought Palmers brand and I have used Bare Escentuals brand. |

Thanks for the suggestions! :) The Mederma seemed to work well for a while, but over the last 2 months I really haven't seen any change. :( (So who knows if it was actually working or if it was just the natural healing process.) Been doing deep tissue massage too which has helped tremendously with the healing as far as it being "even" (as opposed to healing raised or indented). We're really trying to avoid corrective surgery or scar reduction treatments... |
