WOW!!!! I think there were like 19,000 when I joined ....
It is really huge but we have so many users that reg and Never ever post. I think they need to delete memberships after so long of not logging in or posting or something...jmo

I agree too! Like 6 months or so seems like a fair time.

That sure is ALOT of people! I do wander how many of them are actual participating members though. I just did a quick search on the members list...I sorted everybody by number of posts. There are 905 total pages of members, 464 pages are members with 0 posts!:eek:

hah, I'd probably be one of those 20 poster. There is def. less than 200 than post on a regular basis.

LOL I guess I'd be another.:p I've come to recognize many many regular posters on here...but there are always several that I don't know posting too. there are a lot of members that post on here...but not anywhere close to 35,000

That is awesome....when I am out with KiKi and someone stops us to talk and they tell me that they have a Yorkie.....I always tell them to check out YT!!!

Wow- that is amazing! We are HUGE!

As for deleting inactive members, I would guess that the size of a site relates to the advertising $$. Deleting members might hurt YT financially and that would not be a good thing.

It isn't really that big. If you look at all the names, you will find that most of them have either never posted in a year or more, or posted a few times and haven't come back in years. I really think that the ones who have not posted in say 6 months, should be taken off. Sure would clean things up quite a bit.

Some members sign up just to look at the pictures, or to buy merchandise from members selling Yorkie products, so not all members may post, but we welcome each and every person who has signed up for a YorkieTalk account.

woohoo! I missed my count down! boohooo

I have not been on today, I broke a tooth yesterday and have been in pain :(
I go to the dentist tomorrow so they can see what I did and then my appt is Monday to have my teeth taken care of!

Right now I have just been resting, my mouth is so sore :(

Glad to see we made it to 35,000 YT Members!!!!

Wow! A lot of members. The thing is some of us are like me and we are more lurkers than posters. I spend 4-5 on YT yet I am not much of a poster.
