I got a new phone!!! :)
 

Woo!! I got the new LG Dare yesterday! I'm so excited... getting a new phone always feels like xmas... at least for the first couple days. lol. My contract with T-mobile ended earlier this month and I was so happy to be free of them! lol. Their customer service was great, but their reception stunk.

Anyway, I switched to Verizon.. my BF works for them, so I get a discount. Their plans aren't really as good as T-Mobile, but with the discount I'm now getting so many more features than I had before, for only like $10 or so more. :thumbup:

Oh, and did I mention that my phone has navigation?? lol. I'm so excited for this feature, as I've been wanting a navigation system for a while now. Hmm... now I need to get something so I can stick my phone on the dash when I use the navi... oh, and a ton of accessories and a blinged out case. lol

Anyone else have this phone? & have you dropped it yet?? lol. I got myself the insurance just incase.

I don't have that phone but I just got a new phone a few weeks ago and I agree with it being like Xmas haha! I, of course, had to have new accessories and stuff for it within 3 days of having it! I get all my cell phone stuff off of eBay as they always have stuff for real cheap!:p

That's where I'm looking right now. lol. My BF got me a silicone case and my screen protector sticky things are in the mail (it's a touch screen phone)... now I just need a Coach case! haha

My Dare should be here today! I just ordered mine yesterday. I definitely have to get the insurance though because I drop phones a lot. How do you like it so far? I'm like a little kid on Xmas right now waiting for it! lol Does the navigation run off of your minutes per month? I can't wait to get it.. lol I'll be busy the next few days! :D

I definately recommend the insurance.. I'm always dropping phones, and on one this expensive, it's definately worth the $5/month.

OMG, I'm loving this phone so far! I spent all last night playing with it. lol. Even my BF had to admit that my phone was awesome! At first I thought it would be hard to get used to not having a keypad, but I'm loving this touch screen. Oh, I also reccomend you order screen protectors... (I'm waiting for mine to come in the mail). Oh, and the navi is included in the plan I have...and it doesn't run off your minutes. If you don't get one of the premium plans, you'll have to pay $9.99/month to use the navi. I got the $79.99 premium plan... it's 450 mins, unlimited txts (picture and video also), unlimited emailing, unlimited navi (with updated traffic info), and unlimited web. It's fun being able to log onto YT thru a phone... still getting used to the web browsing though. lol

You're definately gonna love it. Oh, if you want a site for free ringtones, games, walpapers, just shoot me a PM. I think you can make your own ringtones on this site too... I'm trying that out now. I spent at least an hour last night just downloading ringtones. lol

The screen protectors are love! I swear I HATE fingerprints and my BlackBerry isn't even touch screen but I still order them for it, I'm so picky about me stuff haha! I have a zebra case on mine but I LOVE anything zebra print! I need to order a hot pink one too :rolleyes:!

Do you have a USB cable to hook your phone to your computer? If you do there's this AWESOME program where you can edit songs and have ringtones of any song you download! I love it and it's so easy to operate too.

Yeah, that's my next thing to do with the phone. It came with a disc to load into the comp.. and the charger also doubles as the usb cable. :) Do you mind PMing me the name of the ringtone program?

Congrats. I paid off my tmobile contract (as you said cust svs was good but reception was in the toilet) and went to verizon. It's a few bucks more but I don't regret it in the least.

Congrats on the new phone...I love a new anything. That discount works wonders as well.

I get a new one as soon as I pay my bill this month. I haven't figured out what kind I want yet though. I drop phones so often I try not to get anything too expensive
