eyeliner tattoo does anyone have eyeliner tatooed on there eyes? i have an appointment to get mine done on monday and im soooooo scared. a few of my friends already did it and they said it doesnt hurt. they numb you for like minutes and all you feel is like say your finger nail rubbing against the top of your hand... |
To you want the truth or a lie? LOL... A friend had it done...while being done...there wasn't much pain, but her eyes were inflamed for DAYS afterwards. Very puffy and very very red. Also...jsyk...it fades just like a regular tattoo...eventually you'll need to have it redone. |
i heard like after 4 years it will fade ... thats ok ... my closest friends did it by the same girl im going to, no problem.. i hope i dont have any either.. . im on vacation that week so i can heal |
My sister constantly had to have hers redone. She finally just bagged it. |
this is a double thread.. admin you can close this one.. ooooops |
My aunt had it done years ago (I don't know how many, but a lot of years ago) She also had her eyebrows done. They are now green  I don't know why they turned colors but they did. Personally I would never have it done. |
i don't have my eyeliner tattoo on because that is simple to draw on for me...but i do have my eyebrow tattoo...hehe |
My friend had it done and had a really bad reaction to the dye. |
My mom is an esthetician(skin care) & does custom air brush tanning, as well! She is also a certified permanent make-up artist! ;) she has a TON of clients who get it done.. (for so many different reasons) anyways.. i think it all depends on where you get it done, who is doing it, etc. if you get a referral from someone about the person doing it to you, and you feel comfortable with her(you know the location where she is at is good, she is certified, etc.) i think you are MORE than fine!! Just like anything, it depends by whom you get it done!!! ;) You can get it done.. and once it's time to get it touched up.. if you've really liked it-you can always have them go a shade darker.. so it will last longer! good luck!! TAKE BEFORE AND AFTERS.. so we can see!:D |

1 Attachment(s) I have mine done top and bottom. It hurt like hell. When I got up from the chair, my back was covered in sweat and the next day, I was sore all over from being tensed up the whole time. Other people say it didn't hurt at all. I am not usually so whimpy, but all that being said, I love mine and would go through it again. It has been approx 4-5 yrs and mine is not fading. |

Ahhh you have guts haha:eek: I love changing my make-up and I couldn't imagine having something permanent on my face. Good luck though!! |
i wish... it takes me forever to do eyeliner every day cuz im such a perfectionist... but im too scared to do it cuz of the whole "permanent" thing and esp. if it turns out not the way i like it.. but good luck im sure u'll look great and save a lot of time!! my mom has it done.. she has to get it redone every few years but she likes it because of all the time she saves in the morning |

Where do you go to get something like that done? I've always talked about getting it done and would love to do it. Now you all have me wanting to run out and get it done now. LOL |

I had mine done when I was 18, over the years it has faded, but that is what you want versus the other type of inks that bleed, talk about bags under your eyes. I remember it did not hurt during, but after it felt as though I had been crying for days so it was irritated and sore. However it was well worth the pain as I went for years without any additional eyeliner. Now at 33, I do add to it as most of it has faded away, but I would have it done aghian in a heart beat if I found someone good. FOr me it was wonderful as most makeup I have allergies to. good luck! |

I had mine done 5 y/a, I love it! It does fade, but not the point of not showing, it just gets a little bit litter. As far as if it hurts..they numbed that part with something like Ambesol, so you wont feel the little shot with anesthesia, the needle is hair thin, I did not feel it, it is more your head working overtime that the real feeling.I only had it done on my upper lid, so I was able to keep my eyes closed, if you wanted done on your lower lid...that is a completely different story, you need to keep your eyes open:eek: , I think lower lid is more sensitive that upper.I wanted to post pictures but my camera just wont work, check on the pic's I've posted from before so you can see it.I wanted just a simple line to enhance the old/tired look, no double line, no color, nothing special.I've never had them re done since and they still show.Go for it! JUST make sure you do it in a certified place, you can find places at the mall/flea market:eek:, it is not like acrylic nails, you can have an allergic reaction. |

My freind and mother in law did it about 2 years ago but it is already faded so much you cant see it anymore. Im not sure if this is because it wasnt done properly or what caused it to fade so much. My mother in law also got her lip colored tattoed and that has stayed and looks great :) |

I take care of people after surgery, mostly old people. When their make up is off, it just looks so bizarre and abnormal. There is a softness to eyeliner. theirs seems to be so harsh. I think they must have done theirs when it first came out because these didnt seem to fade. You have to remember with any sort of tattoo..your skin changes as you age. Also the older you get the less makeup you wear just a thought |
