Thank you, YT angels! I am not sure how much I am allowed to say, but I wanted to thank some wonderful angels. As of today I have received $65 in my paypal account as well as $35 in giftcards (they arrived yesterday) from some very special YTers for a very special reason. I wanted to make sure I said THANK YOU from the very bottom of my heart. I know two adorable little munchkins who are going to absolutely DELIGHTED! |
I'm so excited for them! I think for the most part e've all been there, at least I know we have, and help is the last thing you want to ask for but the best thing to recieive. I would love to see pictures of their smiling faces when the shopping is done. |
I am going to check with their mom and make sure its OK for me to post their pics. Definitely don't want to do that without her knowledge and permission. They are sooo cute and just the sweetest kiddos ever. |

LOL I don't think I will have any choice in S getting something Hanah Montanna. Apparently she is the latest rage among 5 year olds. :rolleyes: The last couple times she has been to wal-mart with me there have been racks and racks of Hanah stuff that she has been eyeballing. I mean they have everything. Clothes, backpacks, notebooks, pencils, lunchboxes, even underwear. You name Hanah Montana's face is on it. (although I'm not entirely sure I would want my face plastered on underwear...lol) |

If the parents are okay with it...I think it would be nice to have them pose with all the loot they get! I also wonder if maybe you were to contact your walmart and let them know what was going on that maybe they may even donate some money...I know there are needy kids everywhere, however, they donate to all sorts of causes...wouldn't hurt to ask...Have fun! Wish I were closer I would go with you! Keep us updated! |

Just wanted to update and let everyone know that another $10 giftcard arrived in the mail yesterday. THANK YOU! So far the totals are: Giftcards: $45 Paypal: $85 I am going to use the paypal donations to get their hair cut, then hopefully have enough left over to pay for lunches for the first week of school, plus those wonderful miscellaneous $5 for this, $7 for that things they slap you with at the beginning of the school year. Hey, just wanted update you since we have pm'd I have started getting things for J set aside......the boys had some very nice clothes they grew out of. I just need to make sure the stuff they may have stained or ripped dosen't get shipped! I asked my sister about a size 10 for S....she may have some, I will re read your thread to check S size. If my neice has anything I will send it with the boys. I am just slow right now, but they can use it in a few weeks.....I am SURE they are going to want to wear their new stuff first. Bless those little Angel's and you for for bringing this to our attention. I have a lot to go through b/c I just bagged it all for a sale about a month ago and I can't lift the bags now, I will get help getting them on the couch and then I can go to town....lol at least I will be out of everybody's way. They don't want me here breathing paint and cleaners, but they don't want me on the road....I would like for them to tell me where they want me....lol maybe not! Oh Angie you are so sweet! (((hugs))) You worry about that precious little bump of yours first. These kiddos are being very well taken care of. :) But if you just want something fun to do....I think all of us would love to see another bump pic....or three....or ten.....lol |

As a parent myself I may not want pics of my children posted. But... and this is just an idea, you could take pictures of their "loot". The best part of a shopping spree is getting home and laying everything out to look at it. I do that with all my children and they love it. |
Just to update: I received another $35 in paypal, 2 more giftcards totaling $40, and a nice package arrived yesterday that led to some VERY happy kiddos! Thank you everyone!!!! *hugs* |
