I can't figure out....

Where this person got my personal e-mail address from ?!? but I have received two mails so far. I am accustomed to spam but not 'specific interest' spam. Here they are with my response:

Well, let me rush right out and wire you all the money you want. I am stupid and have no idea that this is a scam. I am totally unaware of these tactics that are used every day to swindle unsuspecting folks out of their hard earned money. I don't know anything about the heartbreak they feel when they realize that they have just been taken by the scum of the earth. People with no scruples and morals, like you, ones that have no honor or integrity and are too darn lazy to work a real job....well these are my favorite kinds of people to do business with.

Just tell me how much money you want and I will wire it to you right away. And please know, it is with very much sincerity that I write these words to you.

I'm pretty sure that is the end of this one. LOL

This reminds me of that l-o-n-g thread a while back where someone (sorry, don't remember who) messed with the scammers minds for days and days. I tried to find it, I'm sure there are lots of new people who would love to read it. Any old timers know which one I'm talking about?

That's one way of letting them know you won't be taken.

It is scary. I just got a book mailed to me by someone that I have only talked to on-line. She is not scary (and the book is excellent...The Shack is the name of it). Just the fact that it is so easy to find by anyone. Anyone at all.

Same thing happened to a girl I work with Mother, they had gotten her email address because she had an ad selling her yorkies.. she is a breeder. She fell for it but thankfully I heard about it in time for her to stop the wire transfer.

I've gotten one or two emails like that too, and wonder where they get the email info from.
