pm me your address......I think I have some good stuff in a 34x30 my boys wore.....they always had the in thing, but it took me all day to shop for the bargains at AE and Areo has awesome prices too. If I can I will also send a wal mart card. My older neices may have some things for S, but I think they are in the same size so ? You think a Mens M would T shirt would be about right for J?

Also, maybe you want to think about talking to their parents to see of you can take them for a hair cut right before school. It's amazing how much kids or anyone can learn when their self esteem is high.

I'm so glad you said that. Any family with children could use a little extra to run the house in this economy but this is really for the kids. They can always buy larger sizes to grow into once they think they have enough for fall and winter or keep some money set aside for the next season. The person that mentioned helping the parents sure had their heart in the right place though.:thumbup:

Okay, I've got this box with all of J's school supplies ready to send out...

I decided to go ahead and send the outfits I bought - thinking that "too big" is better than "too small" and if they don't fit or the kids don't like them, they can just be exchanged....

Oh, my son and daughter wanted to send something along as well.... these are not new, but my son (11) sent J his Spiderman 3 DVD - - - and my daughter (13) sent along her toy kitty for S... (it was her favorite thing for forever it seems!!) - - - it's one of those that "purrrrr's" and "breathes" (her tummy goes up n' down) - and she meows! Really kinda' cute, hope she will like it...

Will be getting this box out asap! :)

Wow..haven't been back to this thread since my last post...It is heartwarming that so many are so generous and excited! A $10 gift card goes a long way when added up. Do we have an official list? I see that the school supplies for both are taken care of...so now its just a matter of getting the address for the gift card! This is awesome! Please don't forget me when pming your address! I just went to the walmart web site and ordered a gift card and shipped it. Saved me a trip and the gas $. It said it should arrive between 7/25 and 7/31.

Ok my PC and internet are up and working! Yay! Paypal is up and running and linked to correct bank account as well. :D

I need to know who else needs either address. I am trying really hard to catch up!

I just wanted to say again that ya'll really have no idea how much this means to me and is going to mean to these kids. I am so happy and excited for them! I am so so very very VERY proud to be a part of such a caring and generous family! (((((HUGE HUGS)))) to each and every one of you!

Thank you :) She is such a sweety for helping out! I hope when my daughters get to be teenagers (well, one will be 14 in Aug) they are kind and mature as she is!

I agree she is an angel and so mature. I will never forget how she handled re-homing her dogs when there was no other choice. Before that I thought she was one in a million but after that I knew she was. Such maturity and thoughtfulness at a young age is wonderful. She will laugh when I write these following words "sorry a little off topic" :D
