9th month and ready for this baby to come out!!! I am in my 9th month and ready for him to come out. I am totally miserable. I can hardly sleep because can not get comfortable plus I am up every hour to pee. I am still working and get really tired at work. My feet and ankles are swollen....well looks like I have no ankles anymore. Hubby had me take a pic of them becuase they were so big. I have a desk job so really not that bad at work, but I would be more comfortable at home. I figure though the more time I can work up to the delivery the more time I can spend with him after. I was just a dimple dilated last week...how the doctor put it and this week still the same except for he has moved in the downward position. His head is where it should be getting into position for delivery. My hubby has been great through the whole pregnancy. He rubs my back for me and is there when I cry. He had done a lot around the house that I can not do anymore. This is my first and scared to go into labor, but right now that is what I am looking forward to. I have low pain tolerance so I don't think hubby is looking forward to dealing with me and the pain. I am of course getting epidural. Hopefully, I will be able to post the birth of this little guy soon. Well, probably big guy. Doc said probably 9 to 9 1/2 lbs...YIKES!!!! |
good lucky sweetie...when is your actually due date? |
If you can, walk and walk.Maybe go to the mall for 2 hours . Walk for 10minutes and sit and walk for 10 more minutes and sit .....Just make sure someone is with you . Are you nesting yet? Cleaning and cooking ? |
You sound absolutely miserable, but he'll come faster than you think! Then don't blink 'cause he'll be grown up before you know it! Congrats on the baby and hope you feel better soon. What is his name going to be? |
Congratulations. Before you know it that little one will be here and you will have forgotten all about your discomforts. Good luck and enjoy your new baby when he arrives. |
What an exciting time for you. Congratulations.. You Go Girl. Hugs and kisses for the new baby. |
Heather, you are in the final hour - you have worked hard for the past 8+ months growing a baby and getting ready to become a mother. I know you are tired, and misrable, and just ready to hold your little precious bundle in your arms. Just a short while longer and you and hubby will get to see the "fruits of your love". It sounds like your husband is a very thoughtful man. Good luck -- keep us posted, we are here to listen. |
Heather .... Congrats on the Baby Boy .... this is such an exciting time and the best feeling EVER when you hold your Baby in your arms for the very fist time ..... words can not describe what you will feel at that moment ..... You made it this far and it will be over soon ..... don't think about labour ..... trust me when the time comes everything will just go away ..... Good Luck Girl and I hope you will post a pic of the little guy !!! What will you two Name him ??? |
Good Luck! It was more scarey seeing all the big lights and stuff in the delievery room then the actual birth to me. I had an epidural and my son 9.11 As soon as they put him in your arms you will not think about anything else. Angie |

I am a scrapbooker so I am sure I will be taking lots of pics and will have to get them on here when the time comes. We have two names picked out right now...Gavin Ray and Caleb Ray. |
Good Luck!!! I know how you feel. I am normally a 110lbs girl and towards the end of my pregnancy with my Zeke, I was so miserable, I couldnt sleep, god knows you cant get comfortable, sitting or standing. One weeks before my due date I started walking every day for as much as I could. I had him 5 days early, so I guess the walking worked for me. (by the way, he was 9lbs 9oz!!) GOOD LUCK!!!!! Congrats... my advice is to sleep as much as you can now, cause boys are rough!! FUN but exhausting. |
Awwwwwwww, Congratulations on your upcoming arrival!!! Honestly though.... relax and enjoy every single minute of "YOU time" that you can possibly get.... don't rush it... he'll be here soon enough and there's NO GOING BACK!!! hahaha.... Trust me.... as a mother of five...... you will NEVER be the same again!!! ;) Looking forward to your birth announcement and photos of your new little man!!! :) |
