Here are pics of the inside of my house that we just remodeled. My home is over 100 yrs old. I even have a carriage house in the back. The pics are only part of the 1st floor. I think I have the other pictures at home. We are selling it though...it was just an investment.


1. Is the furbabies family room
2. part of my foyer
3. dining room
4. my foyer again

I love older houses...they have so much character. We just refinished the original wood floors that were previously painted.

I don't have pics of my formal living room or the rest of the 1st floor on me.

We are moving to FL ..... well we are waiting to move ... this is beginning to upset me ... we sit here waiting on a piece of Paper ... :( ... for weeks now we have been waiting on it ......

So who knows how much longer ..... but it will happen .... ;)

Thank you! I love older homes. The wood work in this house is unbelievable...I have to take pics of the carriage house. Its cute because the doors to the carriage house are big enough to fit a horse carriage and of course you can fit a small sports car. It also has a second floor with a funny looking ladder. I'm not really sure what the second floor was used for. We also found stuff in the walls when we were knocking them down. Didn't find the millions though...lol

Thanks, until 5 years ago I had never planted a single thing and then old bushes died out so I decided to try a little garden. I ended up loving it and my husband and I did all the work and it just kept growing and we did one in the back too

Thanks, Des! I am really likin' the way it's going. We've been talking about it for years and I was never very confident that I could pull it off. Now I have to do the walkway. :eek:

And I don't know about character, but plenty of characters live inside. :D

We have been remodelling our house since we bought it 4 years ago. We just finished the kitchen last August. The other picture is of part of our backyard. We're on just under an acre. The last one is of my living room a couple of months ago. We put in the laminate flooring and retextured all the walls and ceiling and took down all the nasty popcorn off the ceiling. We even tore down a wall that was in the way. I dont have a current photo of what our living room looks like now.

O.K., I can't take it anymore!! My hubbie told me to post those pics of an historic house that is near us!! THAT IS NOT MY HOUSE!! It is called Filoli and the old movie "Heaven Can Wait" with Warren Beatty was filmed there!! It is a mile from my house & I go there often just to read or take photos or take painting classes!! Sorry for the joke!! :D I will take photos of my little tiny house tomorrow!! I think my whole house could fit in Filoli's garage!!

In December the water is about 70 degrees. Right now it's 90 degrees. My granddaughter will get in the water with it that cold...but not me. Maybe in my younger days, but not now! Thanks for the compliment about my pool. I designed it, and am really proud of it.
