Can I please have your prayers & positive thoughts for my Dad?
 

:rose:I just got home from my parents house with some bad news. :( My dad had another Doc appt today for a stress test and an echocardiogram. The results are he has to have another stent put in possibly 2. They are waiting for Akron General (Hospital) to call and give him the time to come up. It will be within 48 hours :( Dad had a heart attack in January of '08 and it was assumed that he had 2 other ones in December of '07. In Jan he had 3 stents put in and they docs were hoping that would work as he had 90% blockage in 2 arteries. He followed through with his 3 mos of cardio therapy, very strict heart healthy diet, ect. followed 100% of his cardiologists orders. But apperently that didn't do the trick. My Mom didn't want to talk about it in front of Dad to not upset him anymore, so I only know very few details, but I have a feeling there is more than I have been told :( Dad is only allowed to sit in a recliner with his feet up, no solids, take vitals every 30 minutes and only to be up to use restroom until they call requesting him to head to the hospital.:(
:hands:So please, if anyone could spare my Dad some prayers and positive thoughts it would be very much appreciated by my family and I.
My Daddy is my world, I am the biggest Daddy's girl I know:wub: The thought of him going through more heart related surgery scares me to death, he had complications last time :cry8:

Honey, I am so sorry your Dad has to once again go threw this.
If it means your Dad will be ok then keep thinking positive and keep
a smile on your face for him. Prayer's coming his way for a safe surgery
and a speedy recovery.

Awww my prayers to you and your dad! My dad has heart issues too and know how scary it is! He goes for those tests too as he has a valve that is leaking :(

so sorry to hear this...your daddy...yes daddy not dad....will def be in my prayers....my momma is a walking talking miracle.....last March she had what was called a mini heart attack...well they couldnt put stents in because the areteries were too small....and then in November she had Brain Surgery to remove a tumor the size of a golf ball...no cancer thank God....so miracles happen every day.....so here is to your daddy getting his miracle in the next few days....hugs
