FREE to good home, 18 yr old..... Free to good home..18 year old. Very skinny but eats like a horse, stays up late and sleeps all day. Must be willing to shell out big bucks for high auto insurance rates, fast food, repeated fender bender damage and unexpected bills caused by 18 year old boys. Just got my Direct TV bill and while my husband and I were at our lake house our son raked up porno rental charges. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry..or beat his arse!!!! Is he stupid you ask(my husband asked the same thing)? No, he's bright but obviously has no common sense, brain damage or something. I told my husband we should have just had puppies! I know it wasn't my hubby, I looked at the calendar and the dates were days that we were at our cabin. We took a couple of weeks vacation in June and July and then were up there every weekend for both months. He does have a girl friend so I have no idea what was going on...I'm starting to wonder if he charged admission from friends. I have 3 sons ages 30, 28 and 18. The older ones never pulled some of the stunts this youngest one has pulled..at least they never got caught. I have even been sitting at my table in the morning eating breakfast and a girl comes out of his room..after spending the night! He pulls some major stunts! He is paying for the charges. |
Good job making him pay. My brother is 18 and I thought he was quite the moron, too -- until he got into every college he applied to for undergrad ;) Your son will smarten up. |
One of my little brothers pulled the "girl spending the night" trick one time too. Foiled the plan when she got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and ran smack into my dad as he was taking the dog out to go potty. Sh** hit the fan in our house that night. My other 2 brothers and I considered sleeping in the barn just to get some quiet and not hear my dad yelling. |

Free to good home.. You'll have to do better than that. I've offered to pay someone to take ours...no takers. :cool: He'd pull stunts like that and then look at us like we were insane for being upset. His favorite question was, "What's your problem?" Grr He's 21 now and finally starting to behave. ;) His three younger siblings combined are less trouble! |

I do not look forward to my two boys getting older! I grew up with two older brothers. When they were teenagers, I never got any sleep, with all the fighting and yelling going on in the middle of the night between my parents and brothers. I'm not saying that I didn't pull my own crap but I was a LOT smarter about it. They did some of the stupidest things! |

Gee everything you mentioned to me sounds pretty normal, we had 5 boys and sorry to say they all had the own quirks,yet somehow managed to grow up to be upstanding men, don't give up this soon, it will all come out ok,all you have to do is pretend you really dont know who dropped that kid off at your house,gotta be a differant one than you raised...sorry, but still sounds real normal for now and today...good luck,just open your eyes real big,with the look of shock and say" who are yu" |
Sons are wonderful. I'm very close to all of them and my older 2 (30 & 28) are very responsible. My 18 year old is my wild child but hopefully he will mature and become responsible if we can just get him over this hump. He's working but doesn't really take anything serious. His older brothers were work-a-holics and already had bought brand new cars by the time they were his age and my middle son had already enlisted in the Army by that age. Theres still hope :-) |
Been there, done that My son went through the 900 number bit. You know how they seal your telephone bill envelope through a machine, well I received one bill that was hand scotch taped, cause it was so big and thick they could not put it through the machine. 27 pages long it was and it was $1679 for ONE MONTH! Needless to say, the telephone went to work with me in the trunk of my car and I left change home so that they could use the phone down by the pool. I lived in the high desert at the time and I figured that would teach him, standing at the pay phone in either 118 degree weather or -1 weather. Almost 37 years old now and has no more sense than he did at 18, but at least he is not in MY HOUSE any longer. LOL |

Eesssh!!!! we would of gotten a beating....lol, I thought my brother was spoiled..20 still lives at hoome, has college paid for (private), has a car my mom bought, and only recently started paying hia OWN insurance.....My mom finally woke up and made him get a job, go to school, and start paying his own cell and cable bill....lol, he is still like THOUSANDS of dollars in debt to her from when he wasn;t working (like a year and a half)...lol, but he has never ordered Pron or 900 numbers only because he would be soooo embarassed and my mom would still beat his a**....and no girls allowed to sleep over...lol, he is allowed to have them in his room...(a privelage I never had)...but thats about it |
