"Build A Bear" Clothes There was a recent thread re: www.buildabear.com clothes. I am very very interested in purchasing some outfits for Codie and Katie. I looked at the website and they have some adorable stuff! Has anyone ever bought from them? Are the clothes a "one size fits all" type of thing? Katie is 2.6 lbs and Codie is 6 lbs. Would they fit my dogs? Does anyone have a picture of their cutie pie dog wearing clothes from Build A Bear? |
I was wondering the same thing...but they said they come in sizes...Maximus is 5.5 lbs so I was wondering??? |
I actually called their toll free number and they said their clothes are 1 size fits all. I am going to order 1 outfit and see how it works. |
I've only seen one size of Build a Bear clothes. Stewie has about 10 shirts from there. Here is one photo wearing his "Mother's Day" shirt: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v5...Picture096.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v5...e/52edaa1e.jpg Here's my BF's niece with her two Build a Bears that we made & their shirts: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v5...gsandbears.jpg |
See thats what I was afraid of....because a shirt for a 3lb won't fit a 5lber won't fit a 7lber ....no?? and Stewies mom said they are a little big around Stewies waist and I think he is close to 7 lbs...confused...I wish there was one over here that I could inspect... :( |
Yeah, he's about 7lbs. They're a little short since they're made to fit a teddy bear and Stewie is pretty long about a little over 12 inches from base of neck to base of tail. He is very skinny and doesn't have a belly at all. A short Yorkie w/ a bit of pudge would be ideal. My best guess: They'd fit a five pounder just fine (10" being ideal length IMO), but definitely not a 3lb'er. |
YOu can see in the second pic I posted how it hangs on him near the belly. Its not too bad though. The shirts are cheap at around $5 or $6. |
Codie is 6 lbs so hopefully they will fit him. |
Maximus is 11"....tall huh...and he is skinny also...I think he is very similar in shape to Stewie or at least will be full grown |
