What have you made from the YT Cook Book?
 
We are having a cook out tomorrow at my parents and I'm going to make something from the Yorkie Talk cook book!

What have you made?

I made Chicken Enchiladas(recipe by nvnvgirl). They were yummy and very easy to make.

I made the Thai Shrimp Curry by nvnvgirl on page 109. Don't know if she forgot to add the rice or not but I made rice for this dish. Very good, and I'll make it again.

Under Appetizers on page 6, I made Vallery's (iloveemmy) Spinach-Artichoke Dip which was very good.

And under Desserts on page 195, I made Patricia's (flgurl69) Out-of-This-World Cake and let me tell you..........it was "sinfully" good. Don't think of calories when eating this. Just enjoy. ;)

I haven't tried any of them yet!!! But I have it out on my counter, so I can see what I need to get from the grocery store........Can't wait to try them all!!!:dribble:

Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry! I think I left the rice out b/c half the time I don't put it in. But when I do use it, I use 1/3 cup of white rice just after you bring the stock to a boil and then cook it until the rice is tender, about 20 minutes and then add the rest of the ingredients.

Geeze, I know I proof read my recipes, but somehow I missed that!

I'm taking the book with me to the hospital tomorrow ( my moms surgery) and will be checking them out .I LOVE cookbooks.I will defenitely be trying some recipes out!

Not a problem. ;) We love Asian foods, so we do use lots of rice. I have a rice steamer I use. I make up a nice size batch and keep it on warm for two or three days. :)

I made the Easy Chicken and Pasta last night (from Grayson's Mom) and it was so easy and delicious! I took some leftovers for lunch today, and I met my boyfriend at his house and I had to fight him over it so he wouldn't eat my whole lunch :)

My sister made the low-fat spinach dip, I made the fried ice cream balls and my mom made chicken tetrazzini. Everything was yummy!!

Sounds like everyone is enjoying the cookbook!

I'm down to about 10 books left! They sure did go fast!

This was a fun project, but I'm sure glad it's almost done lol

I haven't made anything yet because I have given them all away:D So I am just waiting for my next order to come. I can't wait to try some of those yummy sounding recipes.
