One of my frames going for $10 on Ebay??!!
 
I know we're not supposed to post links to our own auctions, but this is NOT my auction. It's for Babybear.

And my mosaic frame I donated is going for only $10! :eek::( That doesn't even cover what I paid in supplies to make it.

Wow, is it that bad? I tried something new with the pottery pieces, but I thought it was pretty.

It only has four hours to go. I am wringing my hands and biting my nails. I don't think I'm cut out for Ebay. :rolleyes:

The frame is very pretty and worth much more than $10. I have bought and sold on ebay both. Alot of people who buy on ebay want something for nothing. To protect yourself against that you need to put a reserve on the item for the price you want. Also something some of the sellers do is add the price they want into the shippiing and handeling but I dont agree with that It is a shame when it is an auction for a dogs medical bills and someone is low bidding

It just jumped to $20 something, so that's better. This is my first experience having something sold on Ebay. I haven't sold there at all. I have bought before though, and the price will often shoot up at the last minute. So, let's hope it does. This little furbaby needs the help.

Oh I just looked and you have 4 bids on it now. There are always people who wait untill the very end to bid so it may go up more since you have that many bids

When selling on Ebay the biding doesnt start until the last hour and the last 5minutes .

I've found summer auctions on eBay don't tend to do as well as fall/winter ones.

And agree...with any auction...the bidding increases the day of and sometimes MINUTES before it ends.

IT went for $26 !!! :)
eBay has changes so much since it started out. I used to be able to make a decent profit from it with my kids clothing, toys and odds and ends. Now it's just gotten way to big for it's own good and defeats the purpose I think. Plus the cost of shipping has went up, but people have jacked their own shipping prices up so bad it's ridiculas, mainly to cover what their losing out on with the actual item due to it getting so big. :(
A lot of people, myslef included use sites like Auctionsniper to automatically bid at the very last second. And I mean as little as 2-3 seconds lead time. It's the only way I found to have a chance at winning anymore.

Yeah, I will continue to donate to charities even if my items are auctioned on Ebay, but I won't be a seller there. I just can't handle the pressure! lol :p

Ahhhh. I didn't know there were places like that. Does it cost?

I have been called a sniper because I bid in the last few seconds. It's the only way I can win a bid for something I really want. So I do it that way.

Way to go Judy !! ebay has really changed hasn't it ? It used to be fun and a place to find bargains ....but now it's nothing but a big online store and erino77 is right - jacked up shipping BUGS ME TOO

You did good girl !! I'm glad the price went up and it sold but I know just what you mean about not selling there anymore - ebay is just too big to bother with anymore
