So far today DUG has SCRUBBED the kitchen (and to my standards even), and offered to clean up the downstairs room. He also cleaned the bathroom and is working on the list I gave him. Don't know how long it will last, but as for TODAY, even I am impressed. The kitchen and bathrooms are so clean they are honestly sparkling! :eek: |

Ya'll would have been so proud of me this morning. He actually almost got mad at me for "disturbing" him with the vaccuum and that was the last straw. I laid into his butt! I am 5'3" and he is about 6' 4" but I was up on my tip toes ripping him a new one. He backed down real quick and has been working his butt off ever since. I told him things were going to change and he was going to be helping me around here and doing things or there was the door and he could leave with or without a job or place to live. I didn't give a rats behind anymore! Even DH's mouth fell open. I was MAD. Then he turned to DH and said, "What's wrong with HER?' and DH said, "Dude, I think you p*ssed her off." LOL Ya think? |

When your finished talking to the other teens, I have a 17 who needs your help....lol I bought a bed yesterday and it's in the surburban this morning while I wait for him to move his junk and sweep so I can bring it in and the side table in. And when I come home, the place is a wreck and things are not done..... Well, I wrote a list of chores for everyone. To be done by Friday, although I may change it to daily expectations....because he waited till Friday to do it....and it was 95 while he was weeding....LOL EVERYONE GETS A LIST!!!!! Hubby, kids and nephew!!!!!! And it WORKS!!!! I did explain to everyone about the list while I wrote it! Well, this week, I got clothes line installed, edging done, weeding of the flower bed, trash out, clothes folded.......they had more chores, but they were little ones....these were the big ones..... AND MOM SURE IS HAPPIER TOO Try it!!! |
You know it is common knowledge that men do NOT see what needs to be done on their own. My dh always tells me that he can't read my mind and I have to say something instead of fume. Way to go!!! |
They never see what need to be done, unless you don't do it. That wakes them up in a hurry. lol |
