I personally think they need to euthanized any adult that doesn't train their dogs no matter what breed!:mad:

It really gets me po'd when people get dogs that can be so dangerous when not properly trained and then neglect to take on the role of responsible owners. :mad::mad::mad: It is a shame that these dogs, like so many others, had to be put down because of the lack of common sense on their owners' part.

I read this story. Andbeing a long-time owner of Rotties, these people were total idiots. Letting them run loose and menacing the children on the bus stop. I feel terrible for that poor woman who lost her dog, but I would not have been standing out their while they tore their way through the fence. I would have high-tailed my butt right back inside! maybe she just didn't notice, but you would think two Rotties tearing through a fence would be audible. This could have been prevented, since they knew they were terrifying the children. These owners should never be allowed to own another dog. JMO

I previously had a Rottie for 11 years before I got Georgia. And its a shame that owners just don't take responsibility for whatever breed of dog they have. Whether it is training, whether it is keeping your gates secure so your dog can not leave the yard. In the end three dogs died and it was none of their faults.

I wish more people would be better dog parents.

omg how sad...i always wanted a rottie but after reading this i am terrified....i have 2 maltese and 4 yorkie...i don't think i can do it now...i feel so bad for the maltese owner...

I have had two rotties with all of my small animals. They both have been good with the animals and my grandkids.
I have found these dogs to be a kind dog. I blame the people. A person can make any breed of dog mean, if they don't know how to set boundries for them to follow.
