My son's wedding was a western/cowboy theme also....I did individual little bottles of bubbles on the tables with a colored themed ribbon and a little label on the bubbles that had their name/date of wedding on it....The label said "Blow Bubbles of Wishes for the New Mr. & Mrs. (first name groom / first name bride) and then the date....

I think these are pretty cute too. I bet I could find plain burlap or muslin bags on ebay or somewhere and stamp "feed" on them myself for cheaper. They could be filled with chocolates or sunflower seeds or something.

Julie that will be perfect but put some flower seeds. Then attach a lable that says these are a symbol of our union and love. Plant them and watch them grow as our love grows.

Something like that will be really nice. It's not a gift to throw away. It will be something that they can have for a long time to come.

Oh, that's a good idea! I like that, something for them to take home and remind them of the wedding!

Now that I'm thinking about it, the sunflower seeds are a really bad idea! I do not want to have to pick up those shells the next day when we're cleaning!:rolleyes:

When you said sunflower seeds I thought you meant the ones to plant....lol.

You can get a nice bag of mixed flower seeds and divide it up in the little burlap bags. Then put that tag on it. Should be very cheap. I think it's a beautiful gift with a great sentiment attached to it.

lol I meant seeds to eat :D I really like your idea for the flower seeds though. Thank you! When I talk to Amanda tomorrow, I'm going to suggest this.

It's a beautiful gesture and not somethin that will cost a lot and it won't be something someone throws in their closet or the garbage. I have been to events and gotten some silly favors...baby showers are good for them ugly ones...lol.

My girlfriends bridal shower favor was an ice cream scoop that was shaped like a heart and at the end the handle was a heart also...that was cute and useful.

Great quality...everyone loved what we gave. I KNOW they have to have something for your theme. They shipped fast too. Also, I did my own flowers and I got them from here: WHOLESALE WEDDING FLOWERS: Buy Wedding Flowers & Wholesale Flowers Online at The Grower's Box

When I tell you that the flowers were fresh and beautiful!! I just followed the directions on the site. Price was terrific! I did wedding in a box and then added some Iris.

Thanks for the link! I'm going to check it out. We have the flowers covered (the only thing we have finalized:rolleyes:). I'm a florist so I'm taking care of all her arrangements.

Well that is terrific! You got the 2nd major thing covered...yay! I am on the site now, looking for gifts for my guests coming to my b-day/house warming gathering.

You are welcome. Very reasonable. People loved our gifts and say they look terrific. Glad I could help.

We also had fish as our center pieces since we got married off the coast and had the reception on the beach. So we decorated every bowl with an Angel and ribbon with our colors. Then we added marbles the wedding colors and plants...and gave away the fish food and directions in a little bag. Hand candles ...mirrors...whole nine. I had a planner...just to make sure I didn't attempt to work on the wedding day...LOL
