Please keep me in your thoughts I am looking for another job.... I know I just started the one I'm at in February but I can not stand it there. The GM Lied to me about the hours I would have to work and is now telling me I have to work every weekend:thumbdown:mad: They are also just not busy enough for me. So I am going to really start looking. I do know that the vets office here in town is looking for desk help. That would be a wonderful job:) Please keep me in your thoughts. Thank you |

Lori, if you don't like it, quit! I'm telling you girl. I've been unhappy at my job for a few months now, but don't have the courage to quit even thought I'be been looking for another job. I've thought about thinking about a vet's office too, or just something part time, but honestly, my customers keep me where I am at now. I have very loyal customers that I'd feel bad if a quit my job. Anyways, good luck and keep us posted. |

Good luck Lori in finding a new job. That stinks having to look so soon but you gotta do what you gotta do. The vet office sounds great. I am sure you can get a discounted rate as well when needed. Why do employer's lie to get you on board then try and mess with you? Happen's so often. |

Well I stopped by the vets office. I picked up a App. The lady at the desk didn't know they were Hiring :confused: But that could be a good thing too. I am really trying to stay possitive! Now I just have to get my resume all caught up and take the App back.:xfingers: |

I don't blame you for wanting to find something that you like...... and I know what it is like to work weekends..... YUCK! Best of Luck finding a new job.... if that particular vets office don't work out (but I really think that you would have a good chance) you could always try another vets office. ....... I wish, too, that I could find something different (more "girly"), but I have got almost 20 years at my job and in a little more than 5 years I can retire...... so... I have to hang in there. Again....:goodluck: |

I hardly eat because I just don't make enough to have anything left over to save... you need to see if it's worth it to work vs GETTING to work...and I hope you land something you can be happy with. Thank you everyone :) I hope to find a job here in town that way I don't have the commute in to town everyday. Right now it is about 50 miles and day. If I was to get a job in town here. it would be less than 2 miles:) So I am willing to take a pay cut so I don't have to pay that gas bill.:thumbup: |
