Extraordinary lightening!:eek: I LOVE storms and will get up in the night to watch them here..we sometimes get great ones in the summer months..but nothing like that! I hope you and the babies are safe & well Brooke!:)

Thanks girl....all is ok here, thank God! :) We did have some REALLY BAD streak streak lightning after all the "weird lightning" passed - and quite a bit of heavy rain...but nothing else thank goodness! :thumbup:

Oh girl, I do too! I LOVE storms but I do start getting REALLY freaked out when the word TORNADO comes up :eek: I don't mind the streak lightning or thunder, or rain...and even the hail and wind (I've been in a REALLY bad Hurricane before)...but I DON'T EVER want to experience a Tornado :eek:

There was one (a tornado) spotted only a few minutes from here the night that I posted this thread...but thank GOD it never came directly to us! WHEW! :thumbup:

Oh I know, I am SO grateful that my babies are not afraid either....unless it is a really loud BANG! from the lightning (which we have gotten many times, but not this time) - however, my other dog, Peaches...is TERRIFIED of storms, I swear she basically has panic attacks :eek: :(

The lightning we had on this night was soooooo BRIGHT - it literally hurt my eyes to even try and look at it. And the BAD streak lightning we had was even worse I think :eek:

I know, it was most definitely strange! I've lived in Texas all my life and I have personally never seen anything quite like that before....and we get ALOT of storms here.

Hahaha! I HOPE I didn't send any your way! :eek: :p But your right...there have been SO many bad storms here and so many lost lives and homes...it is just so incredibly sad :cry:

It really does seem like it is going on everywhere this year! It is just so crazy! Glad you guys are ok and that it wasn't TOO bad! :thumbup:

Did you guys get any rain up there girl? I know it rains ALOT there...probably even more than here :eek: It's funny though because it actually hasn't rained here in quite some time (other than the night that I posted this thread)...we are actually still under a burn ban because of the lack of rainfall and the extreme heat.

Oh I am SO GLAD I didn't read this the other night when all that weird lightning was happening, LOL!! :laugh: I think I would have been scared to death, haha!! Thankfully, it wasn't TOO terrible, other than some really bad streak lightning and quite a bit of rain....and the odd lightning that you saw in the video :rolleyes: However there was a tornado that was spotted only a few minutes from here....just glad it didn't come my way! :eek: I think I'd have heart failure :p

That is such an awesome picture girl!! Great job on getting that with your cell phone!! :thumbup: I wish I would have thought to take a picture with mine the other night when we went to pick up Kenzi, dang it!

The streak lightning here was cloud to ground lightning....OMG it was soo bad :eek: It's quite scary when your out driving in it! :eek:

Cool video. We have that here from time to time--I've always heard it referred to as "heat lighting." It's always orange here though...don't recall ever seeing it blue.
