We need to rehome a female Pitbull
 

Please NO negative comments, this is serious.
We need to rehome a female Pitbull. Her name is Lola and she is my brothers dog. He loves her dearly and has treated her like his baby from day one. He raised her from when she was 7 weeks old and always took her everywhere with him. He is very sad, but he knows this is the right thing to do for her. Unfortunately his job is placing him in surrounding states for a few weeks at a time. He has a friend taking care of Lola right now, but it's not fair to Lola. He has taken some time to think about this and although he loves her and is going to miss her, he wants to do what's best for her, placing her with a new loving family.

Lola is Black and White (see photos below)...
She is UTD on her shots and is currently on heartworm meds. She is 50lbs and very sweet. She is located in Rockaway New Jersey (North West part).

She's beautiful! My dtr would take her in a heartbeat - she has 2 pitbull mixes right now - but they are living with me and there is just no room at the inn. I pray that she finds a loving home and I commend your brother for loving her so much that he is willing to give her up to make sure she has a stable life. That's such a hard thing to do.

She's a gorgeous pitt....I hope you can find her a great home - it's going to be hard I fear .,..but wishing you all the best and I feel so bad for your brother...that's a hard decision to make

YES she does happen to be a VERY stunning girl (at least we think so) - I love her coloring, I love her white paws and the tip of her tail is white too, really cute.

He called me this morning and he was very upset, but he called to ask me for help in finding his baby a new family :( He wants nothing but the best for his baby girl, and is sad that he isn't the one that is the 'best' for her :(

P.S. Lola is a die hard Miami Dolphins fan, so her new family has to be ok with that...

Personally i think she would be best in a Pitbull rescue, You can alway's foster her til they place her. They do all these check's to make sure the person is perfect.

Yes I do agree too, but when it's 'yours' it's always hard to go that route when you are faced with it. BUT, I am trying every avenue, including Pit Bull Talk • Index page whom have a wonderful bunch of caring people and they have given me a few legit pitbull rescue that I have contacted, just waiting to hear back :(

I too agree with trying to find a rescue that will help. I would hate to think of the scenario if this beautiful baby ends up in the hands of a person who fights pits or turns them into aggressive dogs. ofcourse the interested parties are not going to be honest and tell you thats their intentions with her you know. I hope she finds a great home she deserves it. Im sorry your brother is sad

Thats what I would worry about too. In My neighborhood everyone who has them has traind them to be mean quard dogs. I was glad to read your post about her and see a picture of a kinder pitt thats been showered with love
