I looked it up and was a little nervous. Apparently it works...Anyone have a comment/experience? | When I asked my doctor about B-12 shots...he didn't seem to think those were needed:thumbdown I will have to ask him again!
YEARS ago....a doctor put me on Adipex (which I believe is the same thing as phenermine)...those were AWESOME! I lost weight, but the doctor is only allowed to have the perscription for someone for a few months....and when my time was up, he didn't wean me off of them...just stopped cold turkey.
I did lose weight on them and I felt good...I wasn't given enough time to get my exercise routine and healthy eating plan down pat before I was stopped cold turkey on them.....so most weight was gained back.
I had two friends that were put on them too. One, she gained hers back, the doctor gave them to her for two months, and weaned her off for another two months. She was looking for a quick fix.
The other friend lost weight and kept it off. She was weaned off hers too and she had about four months (from starting the pill to fulling weaned off the pill) of exercise and eating good that got her in that habit.
They are great pills for weight loss...but they are very addictive and I think that is why they aren't allowed to be taken for long. |
