I cut my hand!

I'm having pity party. Typing one-handed. I need some prayers today. I was working on a craft project and I cut my hand with a linoleum knife. It's right in the fleshy part under my thumb. Took about 15 minutes of pressure to get it to stop bleeding enough to bandage. I think it's still bleeding a liitle. Doesn't really hurt but now I can't get anything done! Plus I've been up the last 2 nights with my evil allergies! Can't even go outside. sorry to be such a sourpuss. Just feel the need for some TLC and prayers from my yt friends. Thanks for listening...ha, that sounds like Eeyore. I feel like Eeyore right now.

Awww. I'm sorry you hurt yourself Cynthia. My allergies are acting up really badly, too, so I k now how you feel. I hope you feel better soon.

I have to admit the Eeyore made me chuckle.

That sucks! What a bad place to slice yourself! And allergies too, now that I can understand. Mine are driving me crazy. I am almost convinced this sinus headache is just part of everyday life. :(

I'll be keeping you in my prayers today for your hand's quick recovery and sure relief from allergies, ok!

Thanks guys, I appreciate the prayers and sympathy. I took a 3 hour nap today! And still felt rugged when I got up but I had to plan supper. My 12 year old son has been a big help today. I don't want to get my hand wet for at least another day. My gosh, it bled sooo much! I had to put hard pressure on it and ice to get it to stop. It's only 1/4 inch long, but it's deep or gashed I guess. Sorry to be so graphic. I'm such a weinie when it comes to stuff like this.

I'll pray for you but it does sound like you might need stitches.
Please try to keep it clean and dry.
Change the dressing on it.

My son is a gem!! Val, Sully's avatars are sooooo entertaining! They keep me entertained. I love to see what he's up to next.
BTW, I looooove neosporin's new ointment with pain relief. It really works! I don't what it has in it but it made my hand feel better within a couple of minutes.
