Tomorrows the day...
 

Well, tomorrow is the day when Mike and I find out if were loosing a puppy or not. I was just on the phone with Dawn about all this so I'll make this brief.

Ever since Mike's grandmother passed away there is a BIG fight about the puppies. Well as most of you know, Mike and I have had them for six months now. We've been taking the best care of them as possible. Well Mike's grandmother told her friend that she didn't think we should have both, but no one really took into consideration that she was on a LOT of medication. She had cancer in her brain which caused her to forget a lot of things and not remember certain events and such.
The puppies mom belongs to Mike's father but now Tracy is his new POA (Power of Attorney). So we pretty much have to get the okay from her about the puppies.
Her two biggest concerns are:
What will we do with them when we go on vacation?
What happens if there is an accident and we have an expensive vet bill?

Well we have very good answers to both...
We have friends that could watch them for a weekend or even a week while we are away.
Were going to get the Pet Insurance so that way if something does happen they are covered.

Plus what everyone didn't take into consideration again, is that before Mike wasn't able to work because he needed to be here to take care of his grandma, now he has a decent paying job and once we move he can get transferred and I can finally get a better job instead of babysitting for $100 a week to watch five girls.

So I personally think that things may work out, if not, I'm going to be a very sad person tomorrow.

Thanks, I'm really hoping things work out. I think they will but lately everytime I THOUGHT something would happen the opposite happened. So I don't know.

Still waiting for her to get here...she was suppose to be here around 11 or so, but she's never really on time.

SHE SAID YES!!! She told Mike that as long as we do the pet insurance and stuff then it's fine if we take them both. She's also telling Merriam and Dave (the two people that live here that want the puppies) that we are taking them both!!!! :D:D

I am too. Now I feel a LOT better about things. Something FINALLY went the way I wanted it to. lol.

So heres a quickie update to anyone who has been with me during this whole month or so of stress and things...

Merriam and Dave (two people that now live here and are here to take care of Mike's father), have decided that we are allowed here for two more weeks. Since Tracy owns the house it is really her choice, but since she doesn't live here, she gave the choice to them. Tracy was to tell Merriam and Dave today that the puppies are ours, well AFTER Tracy left is when they told us they don't want us here anymore. I personally think that they said that because they are angry that they don't get a puppy because Tracy already made up her mind. Merriam really wants a puppy because she had them for a week when they were born since Mike's grandmother couldn't watch them. So I guess she feels as if she's entitled to a puppy. In my mind, no she isn't. She watched them for a week. Mike and I have taken care of them for six months. They are rightfully ours.

For those of you that don't know, Tracy is Mike's father's POA which means she controls a lot of things that concern him. Well Mike's father and Tracy both said we can have the puppies which means that they now belong to us (which is all I need to be happy now).

So in two weeks Mike and I will be moving to MD :(


But thats just the update from today. I'm sorry if anyone feels as if I'm whining or acting childish or anything like that, or that I'm telling too much of my personal life, but honestly, I love this forum, I really like the people on it. Legacy and Impreza love it too :D

I didn't know you were going through all of this! I'm very happy that you guys get to keep the puppies though!!! :D You guys are the parents of them, and have been taken care of them, the cruel thing to do would be take them away. I'm glad you guys get a happy ending and I hope things continue to go in your favor.

I owe us keeping the puppies to everyone who sent us prayers. I couldn't even talk to Tracy myself because I feared she would say no and I myself could not handle that, so Mike did it with his brother. Thankfully they had other things they needed to talk to her about.

I'm glad we have our happy ending with our babies. I love them so much and would not be able to handle not having them and seeing them both everyday.

Michelle, I hope you get your wish. You've done alot of work,if they truly care about the wellfare of those pups,they won't sepperate them,and give then to you and Mike!! Let us know. Good Luck:rolleyes:

Things are well. We sent in the reregistration today. Were moving in two weeks or less. I'm trying to go with less, but Mike is being lazy so it will be two weeks, lol.
